The group or branch of the Library Association of Ireland which represents the interests of those working in health and medical libraries in Ireland is the Health Sciences Libraries Group or HSLG. [1] [2]

The Presidential Early Career Award for Scientists and Engineers (PECASE) is the highest honor bestowed by the United States federal government on outstanding scientists and engineers in the early stages of their independent research careers. An academic medical centre (AMC), variously also known as academic health science centre, academic health science system, or academic health science partnership, is an educational and healthcare institute formed by the grouping of a health professional school with an affiliated teaching hospital or hospital network.

The Consortium of Universities for Global Health (CUGH), established in 2008, is a membership-based nonprofit organization focusing on global health.
