Mohammad Ibrahim Shtayyeh is a Palestinian politician, academic, and economist who has served as Prime Minister of the State of Palestine and the Palestinian National Authority since 2019. On 26 February 2024, he and his government announced their resignation, remaining in office in a demissionary capacity until a new government has been formed.

Qalandiya International is a contemporary art event and biennale that takes place every two years across Palestinian cities and villages. Founded in 2012, it brings together Palestinian and international art and culture organizations in collaboration to produce exhibitions, performances, talks, film screenings, workshops, and tours.

Saeed Abdul Rahman Ahmed Abu Ali is a Palestinian politician and jurist. He held important roles in the Palestinian presidency. He was the governor of the governorates of Nablus, Ramallah and Al-Bireh. Also was the Palestinian Minister of Interior, and he currently holds the position of Assistant Secretary-General of the League of Arab Nations.

Fahd Qawasmi (1934–1984) was a Palestinian agricultural engineer and a member of the executive committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO). He was the mayor of Hebron between 1976 and 1980. During his tenure he was among the most significant mayors of Palestine along with Hilmi Hanoun, mayor of Tulkarm, and Karim Khalaf, mayor of Ramallah. Qawasmi was expelled by the Israeli government from Palestine due to the killing of six yeshiva students during the conflict between the settlers and the Palestinians in Beit Hadassah, Hebron, in 1980. He was assassinated by the Fatah opponent groups in Amman, Jordan, on 29 December 1984.
