Up until July 2019 the school planned to recruit students to reach the benchmark of 112, but by July only 94 appeared, so the school was to close before September 2019. Nj.com stated that "Parents of students at St. Catherine of Bologna School had been aware that that school's future was in jeopardy". [8] Nj.com wrote that this closure "drew more attention" than the two others that occurred in the diocese that year. [6]

Paterson Catholic Regional High School was a private four year Catholic high school located in Paterson, in Passaic County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey .The school served students from ninth through twelfth grade and operated under the jurisdiction of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Paterson. Due to dwindling enrollment and monetary problems, the Paterson Diocese closed Paterson Catholic at the end of the 2009-10 school year.

Mary Help of Christians Academy is an all-girls, Roman Catholic high school in North Haledon, in Passaic County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey, serving students in eighth through twelfth grades. Operated by the Salesian Sisters of St. John Bosco, the school is located in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Paterson, though the school is operated independently of the Diocese. Though the school was founded as an orphanage in 1921, it took its current identity as a Catholic high school in 1944, and has been accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Elementary and Secondary Schools since 1978.

Bayley-Ellard High School was a Roman Catholic high school in Madison, in Morris County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. Established in 1880, it was one of the oldest parochial high schools in the area. The school, which was operated by the Roman Catholic Diocese of Paterson, closed in 2005 due to declining enrollment.

Neumann Preparatory School was a private, Catholic college-preparatory school located in Wayne, New Jersey, within the Roman Catholic Diocese of Paterson. It was founded as The Blessed John Neumann Preparatory Seminary in 1965. In 1970 Neumann was designated a Preparatory School and was all-male until the 1974–1975 academic year.

Pope Pius XII High School was a Roman Catholic high school serving students in ninth through twelfth grades located in Passaic, in Passaic County, New Jersey, United States, that had been operated by the Roman Catholic Diocese of Paterson from 1939 until it closed in 1983.
