Thermo is a town and a municipality in Aetolia-Acarnania, Greece. It is located in the southeastern part of the regional unit, largely between Lake Trichonida and the southern border of Evrytania. It has a land area of 333.701 km2 (129 sq mi) and a population of 8,242 inhabitants.
Makryneia is a former municipality in Aetolia-Acarnania, West Greece, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Agrinio, of which it is a municipal unit. The municipal unit has an area of 149.687 km2. Population 3,681 (2011). The seat of the municipality was in Gavalou. The municipal unit is located south and southeast of Lake Trichonida, and northwest of the mountain Arakynthos. There are farmlands near the lake shore, and forests on the mountain slopes. Makryneia is southeast of Agrinio, northeast of Missolonghi and northwest of Naupactus.
North Kynouria or Vóreia Kynouría is a municipality in Arcadia, Greece. It is located in the eastern part of the regional unit, between the northwestern shores of the Argolic Gulf and northern Laconia. Its land area is 576.981 km². Its population is 10,341. The seat of the municipality is in Astros. Its largest other towns or villages are Ágios Andréas, Paralio Astros (1,043), Doliana (846), Ágios Pétros (717), Meligoú (684), Korakovoúni (659), Prastós (336) and Kastrí (335).
Olenia is a former municipality in Achaea, West Greece, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality West Achaea, of which it is a municipal unit. The municipal unit has an area of 189.534 km2. Population 5,434 (2011). The seat of the municipality was in Lousika. The municipality is named after the ancient Achaean town Olenus.
Agios Dimitrios is a former municipality in the Ioannina regional unit, Epirus, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Dodoni, of which it is a municipal unit. Population 4,566 (2011), its area is 231.473 km². The seat of the municipality was in Theriakisi. The largest village is Kato Mousiotitsa which has a school, gymnasium and lyceum. The municipal unit covers the northwestern part of the Xerovouni mountains.
Agios Georgios Nileias is a village and a community in the municipal unit of Milies, Magnesia, Greece. It is situated on the slopes of mount Pelion, at about 700 m elevation. Its population in 2001 was 142 for the village, and 963 for the community. Agios Georgios Nileias is 1.5 km east of Agios Vlasios, 3 km northwest of Pinakates, 6 km northwest of Milies and 13 km east of Volos. Agios Georgios Nileias has a municipal museum with works of the sculptor Nikolaos Pavlopoulos.
