Allama Iqbal Medical College is a public medical school in Lahore, widely regarded as one of the best medical institutions in Pakistan. Established in 1975, it is a public school of medicine, nursing and allied health sciences located in Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan. Sacred Heart Cathedral is the seat of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Lahore, located in Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan. Built at the behest of bishop Godefroid Pelckmans with Belgian aid and materials, the cathedral was consecrated by Bishop Fabian Eestermans, the Bishop of Lahore, on 19 November 1907. Its roots lie in the historical presence of the Belgian Capuchins in Pakistan. He served as Secretary for Education during 2017-2019. Malik was conferred UNESCO Confucius Award in 2011.
