An architecture school (also known as a school of architecture or college of architecture), is an institution specializing in architectural education.

Yaoundé is the capital of Cameroon and, with a population of more than 2.8 million, the second-largest city in the country after the port city Douala. It lies in the Centre Region of the nation at an elevation of about 750 metres (2,500 ft) above sea level.
Ain Shams University is an institute of higher education located in Cairo, Egypt. Founded in 1950, the university provides education at the undergraduate, graduate and post-graduate levels.
Alexandria University is a public university in Alexandria, Egypt. It was established in 1938 as a satellite of Fouad University, becoming an independent entity in 1942. It was known as Farouk University until the Egyptian Revolution of 1952 when its name was changed to the University of Alexandria. Taha Hussein was the founding rector of Alexandria University. It is now the second largest university in Egypt and has many affiliations to various universities for ongoing research.
The Suez Canal University is an Egyptian university serving the Suez Canal region. Its faculties are located in the three governorates of the Suez Canal Region. It was established in 1974. It is well-known for its non-traditional research. It has 48 faculties with a total number of students reaching 21,325.
Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT) is a public university near Nairobi, Kenya. It is situated in Juja, 36 kilometres northeast of Nairobi, along the Nairobi-Thika SuperHighway, off Exit 15. It offers courses in Technology, Engineering, Science, Architecture and Building sciences. The university has a strong research interest in the areas of biotechnology and engineering. Notable former students include Aden Duale, the current Leader of Majority in the 11th Kenyan Parliament; Njoroge Kamau the founder of Ignite Kenya and Beyond among others.
Technical University of Kenya (TU-K) is a public university in Nairobi, Kenya. It was chartered in January 2013 by then-president Mwai Kibaki.
Technical University of Mombasa (TUM) is a public university located in the coastal city of Mombasa, Kenya Tudor, along Tom Mboya avenue. It is amongst the oldest institution of higher learning in Kenya. It is one of the National Polytechnics recently elevated to a fully fledged University in Kenya. It was awarded its charter in 2013 by-then president Mwai Kibaki.
Benghazi is the second-most populous city in Libya and the largest in Cyrenaica.
Omar Al-Mukhtar University Is a public university in Bayda, Libya. it is the third largest university in Libya after the University of Tripoli and the University of Benghazi. It was founded in 1961 and grew to be a moderately religious institute that taught practice regarding scripture reading and interpretation. However, after Muammar Gaddafi's 1969 coup d'état, educational reforms were implemented that caused the shut down of the Islamic departments replacing them with scientific departments.
Derna is a port city in eastern Libya. It has a population of 100,000–150,000. It was the seat of one of the wealthiest provinces in the Barbary States, and remains the capital of the Derna District, with a much smaller area. Derna has a unique environment among Libyan cities, as it lies between green mountains, the Mediterranean Sea, and the desert. The city is also home to people of mixed origins.

Istanbul Technical University is an international technical university located in Istanbul, Turkey. It is the world's third-oldest technical university dedicated to engineering sciences as well as social sciences recently, and is one of the most prominent educational institutions in Turkey. ITU is ranked 173rd worldwide in the field of Engineering & Technology and 307th worldwide in the field of Natural Sciences by the QS World University Rankings in 2016. Graduates of İstanbul technical university have received many TUBITAK science and TUBA awards. Numerous graduates have also become members of the academy of sciences in the U.S.A, Britain and Russia. The university's basketball team, ITUSpor, is in the Turkish Basketball Second League. The university has 39 undergraduate, 144 graduate programs, 13 colleges, 346 labs and 12 research centers. Its student-to-faculty ratio is 12:1.
Nanotechnology education involves a multidisciplinary natural science education with courses such as physics, chemistry, mathematics and molecular biology. It is being offered by many universities around the world. The first program involving nanotechnology was offered by the University of Toronto's Engineering Science program, where nanotechnology could be taken as an option.
A Bachelor of Information Technology is an undergraduate academic degree that generally requires three to five years of study. While the degree has a major focus on computers and technology, it differs from a Computer Science degree in that students are also expected to study management and information science, and there are reduced requirements for mathematics. A degree in computer science can be expected to concentrate on the scientific aspects of computing, while a degree in information technology can be expected to concentrate on the business and communication applications of computing. There is more emphasis on these two areas in the e-commerce, e-business and business information technology undergraduate courses. Specific names for the degrees vary across countries, and even universities within countries.
The University of the Republic is Uruguay's public university. It is the most important, oldest, and largest university of the country, with a student body of 85,905 undergraduate students and 6,351 postgraduate students (2012). It was founded on 18 July 1849 in Montevideo, where most of its buildings and facilities are still located. Its current rector is Rodrigo Arim.

Bahçeşehir University (BAU) is a private educational institution in Turkey, located at the European side of Istanbul. The Turkish National Assembly authorized the establishment of the University of Bahçeşehir by the Bahçeşehir Uğur Education Foundation in 1998. An academic and strategic protocol was signed shortly after with San Diego State University in California, USA. The enrollment of the first students was made after the first placement exam (ÖSYS) in 1999–2000 academic year. The university is one of the few universities in Turkey which has it lectures in English and therefore students applying to BAU are required to have high English proficiency.
Girne American University is a university in Kyrenia, a city in the northern area of Cyprus. The university was founded in 1985 by Mr. Serhat Akpinar as an institution of American-style higher education.
Bioprocess engineering, also biochemical engineering, is a specialization of chemical engineering or Biological engineering, It deals with the design and development of equipment and processes for the manufacturing of products such as agriculture, food, feed, pharmaceuticals, nutraceuticals, chemicals, and polymers and paper from biological materials & treatment of waste water. Bioprocess engineering is a conglomerate of mathematics, biology and industrial design,and consists of various spectrums like designing of bioreactors, study of fermentors. It also deals with studying various biotechnological processes used in industries for large scale production of biological product for optimization of yield in the end product and the quality of end product. Bioprocess engineering may include the work of mechanical, electrical, and industrial engineers to apply principles of their disciplines to processes based on using living cells or sub component of such cells.
Beykent University is a foundation university in Istanbul, Turkey, teaching in English, Russian Combined and Turkish with 29,401 students.
The Faculty of Architecture, Urbanism and Arts commonly referred as FAUA is one of the eleven constituent faculties of the National University of Engineering located in Lima, Peru. It was founded in 1910 as the Special Section of Builders Architects making it the first school of architecture to be established in Peru. The faculty is traditionally known as one of the leading schools of architecture in Peru because it paved the way of architecture in the country. Also, it is an accredited school by the Royal Institute of British Architects.
The National University of the Northeast is an Argentine national university. It is located in the cities of Corrientes and Resistencia, capitals cities of the Provinces of Corrientes and Chaco respectively, and was established on December 4, 1956. Known as the university of the sun, it was the seventh-largest university in Argentina by student enrollment numbers as of 2017.
The Cal Poly Pomona College of Environmental Design (CENV) is a college part of the California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. The college houses over 1,600 students; making it one of largest environmental design programs in the United States. The college offers bachelor's degrees in five departments, as well as three master's degree programs. It is the only academic unit within the California State University system to be associated with a Pritzker Prize laureate.
A spaghetti bridge is a bridge made of uncooked spaghetti or other hard, dry, straight noodles. Bridges are constructed for both educational experiments and competitions. The aim is usually to construct a bridge with a specific quantity of materials over a specific span, that can sustain a load. In competitions, the bridge that can hold the greatest load for a short period of time wins the contest. There are many contests around the world, usually held by schools and colleges.
Alejandro Gastón Aravena Mori is a Chilean architect from Santiago. He is executive director of the firm Elemental S.A. He won the Pritzker Architecture Prize in 2016. He was the director and curator of the Architecture Section of the 2016 Venice Biennale.
