Negeri Sembilan, historically spelled as Negri Sembilan, is a state in Malaysia which lies on the western coast of Peninsular Malaysia. It borders Selangor on the north, Pahang in the east, and Malacca and Johor to the south.
The Undang Yang Empat are the ruling chiefs or territorial chiefs who still play an important role in the state of Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia, namely in the election of a new Yang di-Pertuan Besar. The name is believed to be derived from the Malay word undang-undang meaning "law".
Tuanku Ja’afar ibni Almarhum Tuanku Abdul Rahman was the tenth Yang di-Pertuan Agong (King) of Malaysia from 26 April 1994 until 25 April 1999 and the tenth Yang Di-Pertuan Besar (Ruler) of Negeri Sembilan.

The North–South Expressway Southern Route North–South Expressway Southern Route is an interstate controlled-access highway running parallel to the southwestern coast of Peninsular Malaysia. The expressway forms the south section of the North–South Expressway, connecting the states of Selangor, Negeri Sembilan, Malacca and Johor. It begins at Seri Kembangan, near the state/territory boundary between Selangor and Kuala Lumpur and travels southwards to end at Pandan-Tebrau in Johor.

Yamtuan, also known officially as Yang di-Pertuan Besar and unofficially as Grand Ruler, is the royal title of the ruler of the Malaysian state of Negeri Sembilan. The Grand Ruler of Negeri Sembilan is elected by a council of ruling chiefs in the state, or the Undangs. This royal practice has been followed since 1773. The Yamtuan Besar is elected from among the four leading princes of Negeri Sembilan ; the Undangs themselves cannot stand for election and their choice of a ruler is limited to a male Muslim who is Malay and also a "lawfully begotten descendant of Raja Radin ibni Raja Lenggang", the 4th Yamtuan.
Tunku Dato' Seri Utama Naquiyuddin ibni Almarhum Tuanku Ja'afar is the eldest son of Tuanku Jaafar ibni Almarhum Tuanku Abdul Rahman, the Yang di-Pertuan Besar of Negeri Sembilan, who was also a former Yang di-Pertuan Agong (King) of Malaysia. He served as regent of Negeri Sembilan from 1994-1999 when his father was elected as the King of Malaysia.
Tunku Ampuan Najihah binti Almarhum Tunku Besar Burhanuddin is the Tunku Ampuan of Negeri Sembilan. She was formerly the Tunku Ampuan Besar or Queen of Negeri Sembilan from 1967 to 2008. She also served as Raja Permaisuri Agong of Malaysia between 1994 and 1999.
The Linggi River is a river in Malaysia which flowing through the states of Negeri Sembilan and Malacca. It is one of two major rivers that serve as water sources for most of Negeri Sembilan's population, the other being the Muar River, which constitutes the state's eastern half.
Yang Teramat Mulia (YTM) Dato' Mendika Menteri Akhir ul-Zaman Dato' Haji Musa bin Wahab, DTNS, PJK was the 15th Undang of Luak Jelebu, one of the traditional states of Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia. He was elected as Undang on 4 February 1980 and installed 20 November 1981 according to the customs of the state. He was of the noble house of Waris Sarin lineage; the other noble lineages of Jelebu are Waris Ulu Jelebu and Waris Kemin.
Mubarak bin Dohak, is the 16th and current Dato' Klana Petra Sri Jaya of Luak Sungai Ujong, one of the traditional states of Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia. He was installed on 29 December 1993. He is the head of the Waris Hulu lineage; the other noble lineage of Sungai Ujong is Waris Hilir.

Tuanku Antah ibni Almarhum Yamtuan Radin (1812–1888) was the sixth Yamtuan Besar of Negri Sembilan. He ruled from 1869 to 1888, and tried to keep Negri Sembilan independent from British rule. His son Tuanku Muhammad Shah succeeded him and modernised his state.
The Rembau District is a district that is located in the state of Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia. The district is a stronghold of the matrilineal system known as adat perpatih, a customary practice inherited from the Minangkabaus, of Sumatra. The district borders Seremban District to the north, Port Dickson District to the west, Tampin District to the east, Kuala Pilah District to the northeast and Alor Gajah District, Malacca to the southwest.
