Main Public Library and Archive in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is the Directorate of Archives & Libraries, Jail Road Peshawar. It has now developed its District or Branch Libraries in different districts of Khyber Pakhutnkhwa. Rawalpindi is the third-largest city in the Pakistani province of Punjab. It is a commercial and metropolitan city being the fourth most populous in previous census of 2017 in Pakistan. It is located near the Soan River in north-western Punjab, and is the third-largest Punjabi-speaking city in the world. Rawalpindi is situated close to Pakistan's capital Islamabad, and the two are jointly known as the "twin cities" because of the social and economic links between them.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Lyari River</span> River in Sindh, Pakistan

Lyari River is a small ephemeral stream that flows through the Pakistani megacity of Karachi from north east to the center and drains into the Arabian Sea at the Manora channel. It is one of the two rivers of Karachi, the other one being Malir River. The river is about 50 kilometres long. As a seasonal river it carries the collected water after the rains in the catchment area.

The City School is an education company established in 1978, which operates English medium primary and secondary with over 160 schools in 49 cities across Pakistan along with joint venture projects in UAE, Saudi Arabia, Philippines and Malaysia. It is one of the largest private educational organisations in Pakistan, with a total of 150,000 students enrolled as of 2018. In 2018, The City School celebrated 40 years of service in the education industry of Pakistan.

Nazimabad is a suburb of Karachi, Pakistan. It was established in 1952, and is named after the second Governor General of Pakistan Khawaja Nazimuddin. Nazimabad is located in Nazimabad Town. One of the largest government own hospitals in Karachi namely Abbasi Shaheed Hospital also situated in Nazimabad. The Abbasi Shaheed Hospital has 24/7 emergency/trauma facility. The Karachi Matriculation Board is also located in Nazimabad. The highly populated colony Paposh Nagar is also located in Nazimabad.

Karachi Development Authority (KDA) was established as the city-planning authority of Karachi in 1957, and replaced the earlier Karachi Improvement Trust (KIT). KDA, along with the Lyari Development Authority and Malir Development Authority, is responsible for the development of undeveloped lands around Karachi. KDA came under the control of Karachi's local government and mayor in 2001, but was later placed under direct control of the Government of Sindh in 2011. City-planning in Karachi, therefore, is devised at the provincial rather than local level.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Gulshan Town</span> Residential neighborhood locality in Karachi, Pakistan

Gulshan Town is a Karachi borough in the northeastern part of Karachi. Gulshan Town was formed in 2001 as part of the Local Government Ordinance 2001, and was subdivided into 11 union councils. The town system was disbanded in 2011, and Gulshan Town was reorganized as a subdivision of Karachi East District in 2015. The Karachi Towns were restored in early 2022.
