Little Tupper Lake is a 2,300-acre lake located in the town of Long Lake, Hamilton County, New York by Whitney Headquarters, New York. It is located in the 19,500-acre William C. Whitney Wilderness Area. [3]

Of the 100 largest lakes in the park, it is one of only five which are free of motorboats, jetskis, and floatplanes, including Lows, Lake Lila, Round, and Saint Regis Pond. [4]

Fish species present in the lake are bass and sunfish; until 2000 it was stocked with a heritage species of brook trout. There is hand launch available at Whitney Headquarters. [5]

The William C. Whitney Wilderness Area, an Adirondack Park unit of New York's Forest Preserve, is located in the town of Long Lake, Hamilton County. It is bounded on the east by Hamilton County Route 10, on the south by lands of Whitney Industries, on the west by private lands owned by The Nature Conservancy and the Brandreth Park Association, on the northwest by the Remsen to Lake Placid Railroad right-of-way, and on the north by other private land holdings. The area contains 12 bodies of water covering 4,286 acres (17.34 km2) and 20 miles (32 km) of foot trails. The area is named for William C. Whitney, who was an American political leader and financier.

Blue Mountain Lake is a 1,334-acre (540 ha) lake in Hamilton County, New York, in the central Adirondacks. Blue Mountain Lake is the eastern end of the Eckford chain of lakes. It is located west of Blue Mountain. The hamlet of Blue Mountain Lake lies on its southeastern shore and the Adirondack Museum looks down from high above its eastern shore. It has been a popular vacation destination since the mid-19th century.

Indian Lake is a 12-mile (19 km) long, 4,255-acre (1,722 ha) reservoir with a southwest to northeast orientation in the towns of Indian Lake and Lake Pleasant in Hamilton County, in the Adirondack Park of New York State, in the United States. The hamlet of Indian Lake is located 2 miles (3.2 km) north of the north end of Indian Lake. New York State Route 30 runs along the west shore of the lake. Most of the shore is part of the Forest Preserve. Indian Lake is fed by the Jessup River, and drains through the Indian River into Lake Abanakee, and from there through the Indian River to the Hudson River.

Sacandaga Lake (sa-kuhn-DAH-ga) is a lake in the Town of Lake Pleasant in Hamilton County, New York approximately 2 miles (3.2 km) west of Speculator. The outlet is a channel that leads to Lake Pleasant, which is the source of the Sacandaga River.

West Caroga Lake is located in the Town of Caroga by Caroga Lake, New York. The lake is known for excellent warm water fishing, but it also offers the only location to fish for splake in the county. The lake is connected to East Caroga Lake by a small channel. Origin of the name, "Caroga" is derived from the once nearby Indian Village known as "Caroga".

Pine Lake is a lake located north of Indian Lake, New York. Fish species present in the lake are brook trout, white sucker, rock bass, black bullhead, and sunfish.

Adirondack Lake is a lake located north of Indian Lake, New York. The outlet flows through a creek into Lake Abanakee. Fish species present in the lake are northern pike, white sucker, largemouth bass, black bullhead, yellow perch, rock bass, and pumpkinseed sunfish. There is a carry down on the southeast shore off NY-28 near the dam.

Cedar Lake is located northwest of Sled Harbor, New York. Fish species present in the lake are brook trout, black bullhead, and white sucker. There is trail access on the north and west shores from Sled Harbor. There is also trail access to Whitney Lake. No motors are allowed on this lake.

Whitney Lake is a lake located west of Sled Harbor, New York. Fish species present in the lake are brook trout, and black bullhead. There is trail access on the east shore from Cedar Lake. No motors are allowed on this lake.

Sampson Lake is a lake located west of Sled Harbor, New York. Fish species present in the lake are brook trout, white sucker, and black bullhead. There is trail access on the northeast shore from Whitney Lake. No motors are allowed on this lake.

Spruce Lake is a lake located northwest of Piseco, New York. Fish species present in the lake are brook trout, and black bullhead. There is trail access on the east shore from the Northville-Placid Trail. No motors are allowed on this lake.

Fawn Lake is a lake located west of Lake Pleasant, New York. Fish species present in the lake are lake trout, white sucker, black bullhead, smallmouth bass, yellow perch, and pickerel. There is trail access on the southwest shore from Sacandaga Lake. No fishing is allowed between 10/16 and 3/31.

Fall Lake is a lake located north of Piseco, New York. Fish species present in the lake are rock bass, white sucker, black bullhead, smallmouth bass, yellow perch, and pickerel. There is carry down access on Fall Stream off Old Piseco Road on land owned by the Irondequoit Club.

New Lake is located northwest of Harrisburg, New York. Fish species present in the lake are white sucker, and black bullhead. There is carry down trail access.

Garnet Lake is located south of the hamlet of Garnet Lake, New York. Fish species present in the lake are pickerel, largemouth bass, yellow perch, and brown bullhead. There is carry down on a trail off Maxam Road on the east shore.

Trout Lake is a lake that is located south of Averys Place, New York. Fish species present in the lake are pickerel, white sucker, yellow perch, and brown bullhead. There is access by trail from County Route 10. No motors are allowed on the lake.

Moreau Lake is a lake that is located west of Fortsville, New York. Fish species present in the lake are rainbow trout, pickerel, smallmouth bass, largemouth bass, yellow perch, pumpkinseed sunfish, and brown bullhead. There is a boat rental place on the lake. There is a state owned boat launch and carry down in Moreau Lake State Park. No motors are allowed on this lake.

Otter Lake is a lake located by Meridian, New York. Fish species present in the lake are black bullhead, and walleye. There is access with fee through the Leisure Acres Trailer Park.
