Lloydricia Cameron (born 8 April 1996) is a track and field athlete who competes predominantly in the shot put. [2] Born in the United States, she represents Jamaica internationally.
Born in Miami, Florida, to Jamaican parents, Cameron competed for the USA at the 2013 World Youth Championships in Ukraine and the Pan American Junior Championship in Edmonton, Canada in 2015, finishing second in the discus, before choosing to represent the country of her parents. Her mother, Virginia Walcott, had been a track runner for Mount Alvernia in Montego Bay, Jamaica. [3] [4]
Cameron was the 2018 Jamaican Senior Championships gold medalist in the Shot Put, and whilst competing for the University of Florida was the SEC champion at the Indoor Shot Put in 2018, and the Outdoor Shot Put in 2017. [5]
In the shot put at the Pan American Games in Lima, Peru, in 2019 she finished 7th overall. [6]
In July 2021, Cameron was named in the Jamaican Olympic team for the delayed 2020 Summer Games in Tokyo having qualified for the women’s shot put through her world ranking. [7]
She competed at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris in the shot put. [8] [9]
Michelle Denee Carter is a retired American track and field athlete who competed in shot put. She won a gold medal in the event at the 2016 Rio Olympics, making her the first American woman to win Olympic gold in shot put and only the second to win a medal of any color. Carter is the former American record holder in the event with a distance of 20.63 m set at the 2016 Olympic Games. She was inducted into the Texas Sports Hall of Fame in 2020.

Stephenie Ann McPherson is a Jamaican track and field athlete, who specializes in the 400 metres. She has won a bronze medal in the event at the 2013 World Championships, and then placed in the finals of both the 2016 Rio Olympics and the 2020 Tokyo Olympics and all four following World Championships between 2015 and 2022, consecutively. McPherson earned also a bronze at the 2022 World Indoor Championships. She added medals in the 4 x 400 metres relays, taking a silver at the 2016 Olympics, a gold in 2015 in Beijing, and a bronze in 2019.
Janieve Russell is a Jamaican track and field athlete who competes mainly in the 400 metres hurdles and the 400 metres sprint. She won an Olympic bronze medal in the 4 × 400 m relay in Tokyo 2021, where she also finished fourth in the 400m hurdles final in a personal best of 53.08 secs. She is a four-time Commonwealth Games gold medallist, winning the 400m hurdles title in 2018 and 2022, and the 4 × 400 m relay in 2014 and 2018. She has also won two relay silvers at the World Championships and a relay gold at the World Indoor Championships.

Raven "Hulk" Saunders is an American track and field athlete who competes in shot put. They were the silver medalist in women's shot put at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, throwing a distance of 19.79 m. They won four NCAA collegiate titles in shot put, both indoor and outdoor, at Southern Illinois University and University of Mississippi. They were a world junior silver medalist in 2014 and the Pan American junior champion in 2015. Saunders finished 11th in women's shot put at the 2024 Paris Olympics, throwing a distance of 17.79 m. They hold a personal record of 19.96 m for the shot put.
Sabrina Fortune is a British Paralympic track and field athlete from Wales competing in category F20 throwing events. Fortune won a bronze medal at the 2016 Summer Paralympics in the shot put, a gold medal at the 2019 World Para Athletics Championships, also in shot put, and a gold medal at the 2024 Summer Paralympics in shot put.

Camryn Rogers is a Canadian athlete specializing in the hammer throw. She is the reigning Olympic and World champion in that discipline, in both cases the first Canadian woman to win that title, and only the second Canadian woman to win gold at the World Athletics Championships in any discipline. Her Olympic gold medal was the first for a Canadian woman in track and field in 96 years.

She holds the African area record in hammer throw, with a throw of 75.49 m in Tucson in 2021.
