The 2015 Pan American Junior Championships was the eighteenth edition of the biennial track and field competition for under-20 athletes from the Americas, organised by the Association of Panamerican Athletics. It was held in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, at the Foote Field from 31 July to 2 August. [1] [2]

The Pan American Race Walking Cup is a biennial race walking competition for athletes representing countries from the Americas, organized by the Association of Panamerican Athletics (APA). It was established in 1984 and has featured races for senior men and women, and for junior athletes. The women competed in the 10 km road race until 1996, and then switched to the 20 km road race. In addition, there are separate team competitions. The 2001 event was held in conjunction with the South American Race Walking Cup. In 2011, the organization of the event was transferred from the Pan American Athletics Commission, a subdivision of the Pan American Sports Organization (PASO), to the newly constituted APA.

The event was held jointly with the Athletics Ontario Senior Combined Events Championships and the Québec Canada Games Trials. The 2014 Pan American Combined Events Cup was held in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, at the Terry Fox Stadium on July 16–18, 2014. The event was hosted by the Ottawa Lions Track and Field Club, and served also as the Canadian Championships. For the first time, junior categories were included in the cup, while there were also three Canadian competitors in a youth category.

The Pan American Cross Country Cup is an international cross country running competition organized by the Association of Panamerican Athletics (APA) for athletes representing the countries and territories of its member associations. It was established in 2015. Races are featured for senior, junior (U-20) and youth (U-18) athletes. The inaugural 2015 edition in Barranquilla, Colombia simultaneously serves as NACAC Cross Country Championships and South American Cross Country Championships.

The 2015 Pan American Race Walking Cup took place on May 9–10, 2015. The races were held on a 2 km circuit on Avenida Raúl Pey, Playa Chinchorro, in Arica, Chile. A detailed report of the event was given for the IAAF.

The 2015 Pan American Combined Events Cup was held in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, at the Terry Fox Stadium between June 19–20, 2015. The event also served as IAAF Capital Cup as part of the 2015 IAAF Combined Events Challenge, as NACAC Combined Events Invitational, and as Canadian Combined Events Championships. Detailed reports and an appraisal of the results were given.

Peter Steven Ogilvie is a retired Canadian sprinter who competed primarily in the 200 metres. Growing up in Burnaby, British Columbia, Peter represented Canada at the 1992 and 1996 Summer Olympics, as well as, two outdoor, one indoor IAAF World Championships (1993), one Pan American Games (1991) and two Commonwealth Games. He won a silver medal in the 4 × 100 m relay at the 1991 Pan American Games, a gold medal in the 4 × 100 m relay at the 1994 Francophone Games in Paris, and bronze medal in the 1600m Medley Relay at the 1993 IAAF World Indoor Championships.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">2018 NACAC Championships</span> International athletics championship event

The 2018 North American, Central American and Caribbean Championships was a regional track and field competition held at Varsity Stadium in Toronto, Canada, from August 10–12, 2018. It was the third edition of a senior track and field championship for the NACAC region, held three years after the 2015 NACAC Championships. The winner of each event qualified for the 2019 Pan American Games competition, which was held in Lima, Peru.
