Teahna Daniels (born March 25, 1997) is an American athlete competing in sprinting events. [1] Representing the United States at the 2019 World Athletics Championships, she placed seventh in the women's 100 metres. [2]

Contents

She led off the American 4 × 100 meters relay team at the 2014 World Junior Championships in Athletics and 2015 Pan American Junior Athletics Championships to win gold medals and also won an individual 100 m bronze medal at the Pan American Junior Championships.

Collegiately, she ran track for the Texas Longhorns and placed third in the 100 m at the 2017 NCAA Outdoor Championships and was a 100 m and 200 m finalist at the 2019 NCAA Outdoor Championships. She won the 100 m title at the 2019 NACAC U18 and U23 Championships in Athletics in July.

Daniels made her first national podium at the 2018 USA Track & Field Indoor Championships, taking third place in the 60-meter dash. She won her first national title at the 2019 USA Outdoor Track and Field Championships with a surprise victory in the 100 m over Olympic gold medallists English Gardner and Morolake Akinosun.

Professional

Daniels became a certified yoga teacher in 2020 and she started to create designer clothes in 2021. [3]

Her mark, quickly ratified, is the world youth best, the terminology for world record among athletes before the year of their 18th birthday. Since the mark was set outside of the sanctioned NFHS season, the mark is not eligible for the NFHS High School Record. Ronnie Baker is an American professional track and field athlete specializing in the sprints. Over 60 meters his personal best time of 6.40 seconds makes him the third-fastest man in the event in history. He was champion over 60 m at the USA Indoor Championships in 2017, a medalist over 60 m at the World Indoor Championships in 2018, and a gold medallist in the 4 × 100 m relay at the World Relays in 2017. Baker was a dominant competitor over 100 m in the Diamond League circuit in 2018, winning four races and placing no worse than second, including in the final where he also placed second. He was the fastest man in the world in 2017 over 60 m, and the second fastest in 2018 over both 60 m and 100 m. Fredrick Lee Kerley is an American track and field sprinter. He was the Olympic silver medalist over 100 m at the 2020 Olympics and bronze medalist at the 2024 Olympics in the same event. Kerley has earned an additional six medals at the World Championships, most notably 100m gold at the 2022 edition. He has also medalled in the 400m, 4 x 100m relay, and 4 × 400 m relay and won eleven Diamond League races, including two Diamond League finals - the 400m in 2018 and the 100m in 2021.

Cameron Burrell was an American sprinter. He was the NCAA Division I champion over 100 meters in 2018, and anchored the Houston Cougars to victory in the 4 × 100 meters relay in 2017 and 2018. He ran for the United States 4 × 100 m relay team at the World Junior Championships in 2012 and the World Relays in 2019, with the team earning gold and silver from each competition respectively. Additionally Burrell anchored the U.S. 4 × 100 m relay team to gold at the inaugural Athletics World Cup in 2018.

Kenzo Cotton is an American sprinter. Cotton competed in the boy's 100 meters at the 2013 World Youth Championships in Athletics. Cotton is 2015 NCAA Division I Outdoor Track and Field Championships 4x100 m champion, a 19-time NCAA Division I All-American and Southeastern Conference champion. Cotton won two Junior Olympic Championship titles, and won two USA titles.

Wadeline Jonathas is an American track and field athlete. She won gold medal in the women's 4 × 400 meters event at the 2019 World Athletics Championships and finished in 4th place in the 400 meters, in 49.60 seconds.
