Anavia Battle (born March 28, 1999) is an American sprinter.
From Inkster, Michigan, [1] she was a graduate of Wayne Memorial High School (class of 2017). Battle was the 2021 Big Ten outdoor champion in both the 100 and 200 metres and ran a leg on the Big Ten champion 4×100 metres relay while at Ohio State. She finished third in the NCAA Division I 200 metres final in 2021. [2] [3]
At the US Olympic trials in Eugene, Oregon, Battle qualified for the U.S. women's Olympic team for the delayed 2020 Summer Olympics after finishing third in the 200m race on June 26 with a new personal best time of 21.95 seconds. [4] In Tokyo, she reached the semifinals of the woman's 200 metres. [5]
She finished second at the 2024 Diamond League Shanghai over 200 metres, finishing behind Daryll Neita but ahead of Sha'Carri Richardson, in 22.99 seconds. [6] In June 2024, she finished fourth in the 200m at the 2024 BAUHAUS-galan Diamond League event in Stockholm. [7]
Ivet Miroslavova Lalova-Collio is a Bulgarian athlete who specialises in the 100 metres and 200 metres sprint events. She is the 13th-fastest woman in the history of the 100 metres. She finished fourth in the 100 metres and fifth in the 200 metres at the 2004 Summer Olympics. Her career was interrupted for two years between June 2005 and May 2007 due to a leg injury sustained in a collision with another athlete. In June 2012 she won gold at the 2012 European Athletics Championships in the Women's 100 metres. In July 2016 she won two silver medals at the 2016 European Athletics Championships in both the Women's 100 and 200 metres. She has participated in five editions of the Olympic Games.
Mujinga Kambundji is a Swiss sprinter. She won the bronze medal in the 200 metres at the 2019 World Championships. Kambundji is the 60 metres 2022 World indoor champion, becoming the joint fourth-fastest woman of all time in the event, after earning a bronze in 2018. She is a three-time European Championships medallist, with gold for the 200 m and silver for the 100 m in 2022, and bronze for the 100 m in 2016. At the European Indoor Championships, she earned gold in the 60 m in 2023 and bronze in 2017.
Aaron Brown is a Canadian sprinter who specializes in the 100 and 200 metres. As part of Canada's 4×100 m relay team, he is the 2024 Olympic gold medalist, 2020 Olympic silver medalist, 2016 Olympic bronze medalist and the 2022 World champion. Brown has also won two World bronze medals as part of Canada's 4×100 m relay teams in 2013 and 2015.

Andre De Grasse is a Canadian sprinter. A seven-time Olympic medallist, De Grasse is the 2020 Olympic champion in the 200 m, and also won the silver in the 200 m in 2016. He won a second silver in the 4×100 relay in 2020. He also has three Olympic bronze medals, placing third in the 100 m at both the 2016 and 2020 Games, and also in the 4×100 m relay in 2016. De Grasse won his second Olympic gold medal as a part of the 4×100 m relay team at the 2024 Summer Olympics. The win tied him with swimmer Penny Oleksiak as Canada's most decorated Olympians of all time.
