Xu Lijia is a Chinese sailboat racer who won a bronze medal in women's Laser Radial class at the 2008 Summer Olympics and a gold medal in the same event at the 2012 Summer Olympics, where she was the flag bearer for China at the closing ceremony.
Mateja Petronijević is a Croatian sailor, who specialized in the Laser Radial class. In 2005, she won a silver medal for her class at the European Senior and Junior Cup in Izola, Slovenia, and bronze at the World Laser Sailing Cup in Hyères, France. She is also a member of J.K. Uljanik Plovidba Pula, and is coached and trained by Miomil Zuban.

Throughout his sporting career, Grabowski trained for Hestia Sopot Sailing Club and then became a member of the Polish Sailing Association under head coach Tomasz Chamera. As of June 2015, Grabowski is ranked outside the top 200 for the Laser class by the International Sailing Federation.
Adil Khalid Mohammad is an Emirati sailor, who specialized in the Laser class. Mohammad became the first and only Emirati sailor to represent his country at the Olympic Games, where he finished forty-second in his respective category at Beijing 2008. Mohammed trained at the Emirates Sailing School in his native Dubai, under head coach Omar Mohamed Bazara.

Collura trained under the tutelage of his personal coach Alp Alpagut, while sailing separately for two different clubs at his parents' homebases, namely Lahden Purjehdusseura in Lahti and Circolo Vela Torbole in Torbole, Italy.
Joseph Koh Seng Leong is a Singaporean former sailor, who specialized in the Laser and 470 classes. He represented Singapore across two editions of the Summer Olympic Games, finishing outside the top twenty-five each in two separate boats, respectively. Outside Olympic career, Koh collected a total of two medals in a continental regatta, spanning the 2006 Asian Games in Doha and the 2007 Southeast Asian Games in Nakhon Ratchasima. Koh trained throughout his sporting career at SAF Yachting Club in Changi, under the tutelage of his personal coach Brett Beyer, a six-time Laser Apprentice Master world champion from Australia.
Anastasiya Igorevna Chernova is a Russian former sailor, who specialized in the Laser Radial class. A two-time national champion, she represented her country Russia at the 2008 Summer Olympics, finishing outside the top 25 in her signature fleet. Serving as a member of the sailing roster at ShVSM Samara, Chernova trained throughout her competitive sporting career under the tutelage of her father Igor Maletin. Currently, she is the head coach of the country's youth sailing squad.

Outside her Olympic career, Toh and her previous tandem Elizabeth Ong gave the Singaporeans a sterling silver medal in the women's 470 at the 2006 Asian Games in Doha, Qatar. While pursuing to complete her degree in biomedical sciences at Monash University in Melbourne, Australia, Toh trained for the Games under the tutelage of her personal coach Craig Ferris.

A member of the Singapore Sailing Federation, Koh trained for the Games under the tutelage of Australian-born head coach Craig Ferris. He is also the younger brother of two-time Olympian Koh Seng Leong.
