Louie George Copley (born 20 October 2006) is an English professional footballer who plays as a central or attacking midfielder for Crawley Town, on loan from Arsenal. He has yet to feature for the first team for Arsenal, but has made appearances for the U-21s and U-18s. He has also never featured for the English national team at all.
Copley was born in Southend, Essex [1] to an entire maternal family of Arsenal fans. In fact, his mom was the one to push him towards football at a young age. He also enjoys playing golf in his free time with friends and family.
Copley joined West Ham's Academy in 2019, famous for building players like Rio Ferdinand, Michael Carrick, Jermain Defoe, and Joe Cole, before Arsenal swooped in a few months later to acquire his accolades in their academy.
After swiftly leaving the West Ham academy for Arsenal's, Copley trained with the U-18s for 2 years, before representing the U-21s until 2026. He made a total for 47 appearances in the Premier League 2 for Arsenal before being promoted to the first team for the first time in 2025. [2] He would only be seen on the bench on one occasion, against Club Brugge in the UEFA Champions League.
Copley joined Crawley Town on loan from Arsenal. [3] He is yet to make an appearance for the League Two side.
