Louie Moulden (born 6 January 2002) is an English professional footballer who plays for Wolverhampton Wanderers, as a goalkeeper. [2]
Born in Bolton, [1] Moulden is the son of former player Paul Moulden. [3]
Moulden began his career with Liverpool and Manchester City; his transfer between the two was investigated by regulators. [4] [5] He spent time on loan at Gloucester City. [6]
He then signed for Wolverhampton Wanderers in 2021, [3] spending further loan spells at Ebbsfleet United, [7] Solihull Moors, [8] and Rochdale. [9] [10] [11] He was recalled from his loan at Rochdale in January 2024, [12] and signed on loan for Northampton Town later that month. [13] Moulden said he would challenge for the starting position, [14] a sentiment echoed by Northampton manager Jon Brady. [15]
