"Lounger" is a pop rock song performed by British band Dogs Die in Hot Cars, released as the third single from their debut album, Please Describe Yourself . It was written by lead singer and guitarist Craig Macintosh and band member Gary Smith, and, alongside the rest of the album, produced by Clive Langer and Alan Winstanley.
According to The Independent , it is "a song about an overeducated, lazy bohemian" with lyrics such as "I get up when I want/Don't have to eat my greens/Or keep my bedroom tidy" guaranteed to appeal to students. [1] The song was called the album's "telling moment" by Pitchfork Media, [2] whilst Stylus said that it "fizzes along like no-one’s business, guitar on super-jangle and piano set to hyper-jaunty." [3] It reached a peak of 43 on the UK Singles Chart, thereby becoming the last Dogs Die in Hot Cars single, and indeed release, to chart. [4]
Dogs Die in Hot Cars was a Scottish band from St. Andrews, consisting of members Craig Macintosh, Gary Smith, Ruth Quigley, Lee Worrall and Laurence Davey.
Silent Alarm is the debut studio album by English rock band Bloc Party. Recorded in Copenhagen and London in mid-2004 with Paul Epworth as producer, it was released on 2 February 2005, by Wichita Recordings. The album peaked at number three on the UK Albums Chart. In the United States, it entered the Billboard 200 at number 114 and the Billboard Independent Albums at number seven. The double A-side "So Here We Are/Positive Tension", "Banquet" and "Pioneers" were released as singles. Silent Alarm went on to achieve worldwide sales of over one million copies.
"Rebel Rebel" is a song by English singer-songwriter David Bowie. It was released in the UK in February 1974 by RCA Records as the lead single from the album Diamond Dogs. Please Describe Yourself is the debut studio album by the British alternative rock band Dogs Die in Hot Cars. It was first released on 12 July 2004 in the United Kingdom on V2 Records. After releasing several limited-edition singles and the extended play Man Bites Man, the band released the album to critical praise.

"Milkshake" is a song by American singer Kelis from her third studio album, Tasty (2003). Written and produced by the Neptunes, the song was originally offered to Britney Spears for her fourth studio album, In the Zone, but was rejected and given to Kelis instead. It was released as the lead single from Tasty in the United States on August 25, 2003, by Star Trak and Arista Records, and internationally on November 24, 2003. According to Kelis, "milkshake" in the song is used as a metaphor for "something that makes women special." The song is noted for its euphemistic chorus and low beat R&B sound.

"Goodnight and Go" is a song by British singer-songwriter Imogen Heap, the second single from her 2005 album Speak for Yourself. The single received a little more push and promotion in the US than "Hide and Seek", and the music video received airplay on VH1. Jeff Beck plays guitar on the track.
"Last Thing on My Mind" is by English girl group Bananarama from their sixth studio album, Please Yourself (1993). It was released on 16 November 1992 as the album's second single. The track was produced by Mike Stock and Pete Waterman, two-thirds of the Stock Aitken Waterman (SAW) trio. Waterman stated in 2002 the song was influenced by Mozart. The single peaked at number 72 on the UK Singles Chart. In 1998, British group Steps released a cover version of the song as a single, peaking at number six on the UK Singles Chart.
"Pass That Dutch" is a song by American rapper Missy Elliott. It was written and produced by Timbaland and Elliott for her fifth studio album This Is Not a Test! (2003) and contains samples of Santa Esmeralda's version of "Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood", "Magic Mountain" by War, and "Potholes in My Lawn" by De La Soul. Released as the album's lead single in September 2003, the song reached number 9 on the US Billboard Rap Songs chart and number 27 on the Hot 100. It additionally peaked at number 10 in United Kingdom and reached the top 20 in Finland and Norway.
