"Love Comes" is a song recorded by British girl group Bananarama. It was released on 6 September 2009 as the lead single from their tenth studio album Viva . The single reached number 44 on the UK Singles Chart.
The song was written by Bananarama members Sara Dallin and Keren Woodward and producer Ian Masterson. [3] The B-side for the CD single is a new version of their 1983 hit "Cruel Summer", while the B-side tracks for the vinyl editions are cover versions.
The song is the first single in the group's career where the members performed solo sections rather than harmonising as a group.
A music video for "Love Comes" was shot in London on 1 July 2009. [3] The video features Dallin and Woodward in various retro outfits, and has both outdoor and studio settings. The theme of the video is a reflection on various fashion magazines and trends, with each scene intended to be a different 'glamour shot'. The song lyrics are projected onto backgrounds, and onto the girls themselves in most of the scenes.

Bananarama are an English pop group formed in London in 1980. The group, originally a trio, consisted of friends Sara Dallin, Siobhan Fahey, and Keren Woodward. Fahey left the group in 1988 and was replaced by Jacquie O'Sullivan until 1991, when the trio became a duo. Their success on both pop and dance charts saw them listed in the Guinness World Records for achieving the world's highest number of chart entries by an all-female group. Between 1982 and 2009, they had 32 singles reach the Top 50 of the UK Singles Chart.
Siobhan Maire Fahey is an Irish singer whose vocal range is a light contralto. She was a founding member of the British girl group Bananarama, who have had ten top-10 hits including the US number one hit single "Venus". She later formed the musical act Shakespears Sister, who had a UK number one hit with the 1992 single "Stay". Fahey joined the other original members of Bananarama for a 2017 UK tour, and, in 2018, a North America and Europe tour.
"Cruel Summer" is a song by English girl group Bananarama. It was written by Bananarama and Steve Jolley, Tony Swain, and produced by Jolley and Swain. Released in 1983, it was initially a stand-alone single but was subsequently included on their self-titled second album a year later. The song reached number eight on the UK Singles Chart in 1983 and the group appeared on the BBC's Top of the Pops that summer, and after its inclusion in the 1984 film The Karate Kid, it reached number nine on the US Billboard Hot 100.
Pop Life is the fifth studio album by English group Bananarama, released on 13 May 1991 by London Records. It is the only Bananarama studio album which features singer Jacquie O'Sullivan, who replaced Siobhan Fahey following her departure in 1988. This album marks the end of the group's association with the Stock Aitken Waterman production team as most of Pop Life was produced by Youth. English singer Zoë provided backing vocals on "Long Train Running". This would be the last album by Bananarama as a trio.
Ultra Violet is the seventh studio album released by English group Bananarama. Originally released under the title of I Found Love on 21 August 1995 only in Japan, the album was renamed as Ultra Violet and released on 2 February 1996 in Australia and some markets in Europe, such as Portugal and Spain. At the time of the original release, the album wasn't sold in the UK, the group's home market. Ultra Violet was eventually released in the United Kingdom on 7 August 2020. This also marked the first time the album was made available on vinyl as it was previously only available on compact disc and cassette.
"Shy Boy" is a 1982 song recorded by English girl group Bananarama which was written and produced by the production team of Steve Jolley and Tony Swain and marked the first in a long line of studio collaborations between them and Bananarama. Released in the summer of 1982, "Shy Boy" became the third consecutive single by Bananarama to hit the top-five, reaching number four in the UK Singles Chart. It also was a success in Australia, where it reached number two, becoming their first top 40 hit in that country. Top-ten success also followed in New Zealand and Canada.
