Luke James Tittensor (born 3 November 1989) is an English actor. [1]
Luke Tittensor is the identical twin brother of Elliott Tittensor. They are both from Heywood, Greater Manchester, and attended Heywood Community High School. [2]
They also have an older sister, Ashley.[ citation needed ]
Luke Tittensor and his twin brother Elliott appeared in the soap Brookside .
In the first series of Channel 4 series Shameless , the Tittensor twins shared the role of Carl Gallagher. Elliott continued playing the role of Carl after Luke left the show.
Luke took the role of Daz Eden in Emmerdale from 2003 until April 2009, when his contract was terminated due to a criminal conviction. [3] [4] For his role as Daz, Tittensor was nominated for Best Young Actor at the 2007 Inside Soap Awards. [5]
In 2010, Tittensor played gay pupil Connor in Waterloo Road . [6]
Tittensor appeared in an episode of Casualty in January 2011. [7] He then played the part of Nathan in the first episode of the BBC drama series The Body Farm in September 2011. [8] In 2012, Tittensor played Liam in Holby City . [9]
Tittensor appeared in Our World War as Paddy Kennedy in 2014. [10] The same year, he played Hippolyte in the film Madame Bovary . [11] In March 2014, he starred in an episode of Moving On . [12]
In 2022, Tittensor secured the role of Ser Arryk Cargyll in HBO's House of the Dragon , alongside his twin brother, who plays the role of Ser Erryk Cargyll. [13]
On 23 March 2009, Tittensor pleaded guilty to a charge of grievous bodily harm against an unnamed 16-year-old in Rochdale on 15 February 2008 that left the victim with a fractured jaw. [14] His Emmerdale contract was terminated in April 2009 due to his conviction, with his last appearance in the show occurring the same month. [3] On 29 April 2009, Tittensor received a nine-month suspended jail sentence for the assault. He was also ordered to complete 200 hours' unpaid work and pay £1,000 compensation to the victim. Patricia Jude Kensit is an English actress and singer. Beginning her career as a child actor, Kensit gained attention when she acted in a string of commercials for Birds Eye frozen peas. She went on to appear in films such as The Great Gatsby (1974), Gold (1974), Alfie Darling (1975), Hennessy (1975), The Blue Bird (1976) and Hanover Street (1979). Balancing a dual career as both an actress and a singer, in 1983 Kensit formed and became the lead singer of the pop band Eighth Wonder. The group released several singles, including the top 20 hits "I'm Not Scared" and "Cross My Heart", before disbanding in 1989.
John Jacob "Jack" Sugden is a fictional character from the British ITV soap opera Emmerdale. The character was originally played by Andrew Burt from 1972 to 1973 with a brief return in 1976, when the actor left for Italy to write a book. On his return in 1980 he was played by Clive Hornby. Hornby remained in the role until 2008 when he was forced to take a break from Emmerdale due to illness. His last on-screen appearance was on 21 February 2008, and his absence was explained by the character visiting his mother, Annie Sugden in Spain. Although Hornby was intended to return, he died from his illness in July 2008 without returning to the programme. Jack was written out following Hornby's death, dying off-screen of a heart attack in February 2009.
