Guadalupe "Lupe" Chavira Contreras (born July 27,1975) is an American politician. He is a State Representative from Arizona,representing the 22nd district since 2023. In 2023,he was elected as Minority Leader of the Arizona House of Representatives. He was previously a member of the Arizona Senate,representing the 19th district from 2015 to 2023. Prior to serving in the State Senate,Contreras was elected to the Arizona House of Representatives in 2013. Contreras served on the Federalism and Fiscal Responsibility Committee and the Judiciary Committee. [1] He is a member of the Democratic Party.
The Arizona State Legislature is the state legislature of the U.S. state of Arizona. It is a bicameral legislature that consists of a lower house,the House of Representatives,and an upper house,the Senate. Composed of 90 legislators,the state legislature meets in the Capitol Complex in the state capital of Phoenix. Created by the Arizona Constitution upon statehood in 1912,the Arizona State Legislature met biennially until 1950. Since then they meet annually.

Rubén Marinelarena Gallego is an American politician who is a United States senator-elect from Arizona. He has served as the U.S. representative for Arizona's 3rd congressional district since 2015. A member of the Democratic Party,Gallego was a member of the Arizona House of Representatives,where he was assistant minority leader from 2012 until he resigned to run for Congress. Gallego was first elected to Congress in 2014. His district includes most of southern,western,and downtown Phoenix,and part of Glendale,where he served four terms in the House.

Gowan Sr. is an American politician who currently serves in the Arizona Senate from January 14,2019,and previously as Speaker of the Arizona House of Representatives for the 2015–2017 legislative session and a Representative for Legislative District 14 from January 14,2013,to January 9,2017. Gowan served consecutively from January 2009 until January 14,2013 in the District 30 seat which redistricted into District 14 in 2012. In 2013,he was elected Majority Leader of the Republican Party in the House of Representatives. In 2015,Gowan was elected to serve as Speaker of the House. On October 5,2015,Gowan announced his candidacy for Arizona's 1st congressional district,but withdrew before the Republican primary.
Jeremy Allen Moss is an American politician from Southfield,Michigan currently representing the 7th State Senate District,which includes all of Auburn Hills,Bloomfield Hills,Bloomfield Township,Lake Angelus,Lathrup Village,Pontiac,Southfield,and parts of Detroit,Southfield Township,and Waterford Township. Patty Contreras is an American politician. She is a Democratic member of the Arizona House of Representatives elected to represent District 12 in 2022. She is one of the first out lesbians elected to the Arizona House of Representatives. Contreras was serves on the health and human services and transportation and infrastructure committees. She retired from the city of Phoenix,Arizona,where she worked for 31.5 years as a program manager in human services and parks and recreation.
