Lynnsie Sarah Elam Phillips (born May 27,1998) is an American softball player for the Oklahoma City Spark of the Women's Professional Fastpitch (WPF). She played college softball at Oklahoma.
Elam played her high school softball career at Chickasha High School in Chickasha,Oklahoma. She led her team to 4 district championships,3 regional championships,and 2 OSSAA state championships. During her senior season,she had a .491 batting average,5 homeruns,and 50 RBIs. [1] She committed to the Sooners as a freshman,and soon after,her mother passed away which she attributes to her drive for success. [2]
Lynnsie Elam spent her entire college career playing for the University of Oklahoma. While playing in college,she won 4 Big 12 Conference regular season championships,2 Big 12 Conference tournament championships,and 2 Women's College World Series championships. After the 2021 Big 12 Conference softball tournament,Elam was named to the Big 12 Championship All-Tournament team. [3] Elam was the captain of the 2021 and 2022 Oklahoma teams that won the NCAA championship. Her senior year,she was a finalist for the 2022 senior CLASS award. [4] She was also named Big 12 Player of the Week in February 2020 and March 2022. [5] Elam was not always the starting catcher for the Sooners,but was respected for her work effort and embracing the role of a team player. [6]
On June 14,2022,the Florida Vibe announced that they had signed Elam to a professional contract. [7] On January 3,2023,the Oklahoma City Spark signed Elam to a contract for the inaugural 2023 season. [8]

Sherri Kay Coale is a retired college basketball coach. She was the head coach of the University of Oklahoma Sooners women's basketball team for 25 years,from 1996 to 2021. Coale was inducted into the Women's Basketball Hall of Fame in 2016.

Rick Don Bryan was an American college and professional football player who was a defensive end in the National Football League (NFL) for ten seasons during the 1980s and 1990s. Bryan played college football for the University of Oklahoma,and received All-American honors. He ranked fifth on Sports Illustrated 2021 all-time “Top 10 Sooners Defensive Line”list. In another Sports Illustrated article titled “Greatest College Football Players by Jersey Number,”Bryan was mentioned as being the all-time greatest player of those who have ever wore college jersey number “80.”The Bleacher Report also stated in an article that Bryan was the best-ever college football player who wore jersey number “80.”Bryan was selected in the first round of the 1984 NFL Draft,and played professionally for the Atlanta Falcons of the NFL.
Keilani Johanna Ricketts Tumanuvao is an American softball pitcher for the Oklahoma City Spark of the Women's Professional Fastpitch (WPF). She played college softball at Oklahoma from 2010 to 2013,where she was the starting pitcher and helped to lead the Sooners to the national championship in 2013. As a member of the United States women's national softball team she won 2011 World Cup of Softball. Ricketts currently plays for the USSSA Pride in the National Pro Fastpitch. She is the Sooners career leader in wins and strikeouts. She also ranks for career records in both the Big 12 Conference and the NCAA Division I,where she is one three players to win 100 games with 1,000 strikeouts and hit 50 home runs.
Patricia Marie Gasso is an American softball coach for the Oklahoma Sooners. She has been the head softball coach at the University of Oklahoma since 1995. She has led the Sooners team to seven national championships and has compiled a career record of 1,456–345–2 and a winning percentage of .808.

Sydney Joy Romero is a Mexican American professional softball player and current assistant coach for Oregon. She previously played college softball for the Oklahoma Sooners,where she set numerous program records and led the Sooners to four consecutive Women's College World Series appearances from 2016 to 2019,and won the national championship as a Freshman in 2016 and Sophomore in 2017. She played professionally for the USSSA Pride of National Pro Fastpitch. She represented Mexico at the 2020 Summer Olympics.
Jocelyn Aloha Pumehana Alo is an American professional softball player for the Oklahoma City Spark of the Women's Professional Fastpitch (WPF). She played college softball for the Oklahoma Sooners. Alo was named 2018 NFCA National Freshman of the Year,and named USA Softball Collegiate Player of the Year in 2021 and 2022. She is the NCAA Division I career leader in home runs. Alo was drafted first overall by the Smash It Vipers in the inaugural WPF draft.
Giselle "G" Juarez is an American,former collegiate All-American softball pitcher. She played college softball at Oklahoma and Arizona State.

The Sooners were led by Patty Gasso in her twenty-seventh season,and played their home games at OU Softball Complex. They competed in the Big 12 Conference,where they finished the season with a 56–4 record,including 16–1 in conference play.
Tiare Rose Jennings is an American college softball player for the Oklahoma Sooners. As a freshman in 2021,she was named NFCA National Freshman of the Year,Softball America Freshman of the Year and was selected as a first-team All-American.
Jayda Coleman is an American college softball player for the Oklahoma Sooners. She also represented the United States at the 2019 U-19 Women's Softball World Cup and USA Softball International Cup.
Nicole Rangel Mendes is an American former college softball player and current member of Mexico women's national softball team. She played college softball for the Oklahoma Sooners where she helped lead the Sooners to four consecutive Women's College World Series appearances from 2017 to 2021,and won the national championship as a freshman in 2017 and redshirt senior in 2021. She represented Team Mexico at the 2020 Summer Olympics.

The 2023 Oklahoma Sooners softball team was an American college softball team that represented the University of Oklahoma during the 2023 NCAA Division I softball season. The Sooners were led by Patty Gasso in her twenty-ninth season,and played their home games at OU Softball Complex. They competed in the Big 12 Conference,where they finished with a 61–1 record,including 18–0 in conference play. The Sooners only loss on the season was during an early season tournament in Waco,Texas to the Baylor Bears,4-3. OU shutout Baylor in their regular season conference series,7-0,4-0,and 2-0,also played in Waco.
