Lázaro Rivas Scull (4 April 1975 – 22 December 2013) [1] was a Cuban wrestler who competed in the 1996 Summer Olympics, in the 2000 Summer Olympics, and in the 2004 Summer Olympics. He was born in Havana and died in San José de las Lajas. [2]

Hassan Rangraz is a former wrestler, coach and sports manager from Iran. He is the head coach of Iran's national wrestling team and the official instructor of the United World Wrestling. He is the head coach of the Iranian national wrestling team and an official instructor of the World Wrestling Federation and before that he was the manager of the national wrestling teams, the spokesperson of the Iran Wrestling Federation and the director general of sports and youth of Mazandaran. He has other executive responsibilities. He was the advisor to the vice president and the advisor to the head of the physical education organization from 2008 to 2010, managed the National Museum of Sports, Olympics and Paralympics, and was the vice president of the wrestling federation.

Lázaro Reinoso is a Cuban wrestler. He was Olympic bronze medalist in Freestyle wrestling in 1992. He won a silver medal at the 1993 World Wrestling Championships.

Lazaros Loizidis is a Greek former wrestler who competed in the 1996 Summer Olympics and in the 2004 Summer Olympics. He competed in the 74–85 kg category. Bronze medalist of the European Championships in 2004 and 2005. Silver medalist of the Mediterranean in 1997, 2001 and 2005. The third in the Junior World Cup in 1994. Also he is the brother Nikolaos Loizidis wrestler and Olympian from Sydney 2000.

Wuileixis de Jesus Rivas Espinoza is a Greco-Roman wrestler from Venezuela who competes in the welterweight category. At the 2012 Olympics he received a bye for the preliminary round of sixteen match, before losing to French wrestler and defending Olympic champion Steeve Guénot, who was able to score one point each in two straight periods, leaving Rivas without a single point. At the 2016 Rio Games he was also eliminated in the first bout, against Omid Norouzi who was the defending champion from London.

René Montero Rosales is a retired amateur Cuban freestyle wrestler, who competed in the men's flyweight category. He has been named a 2002 World freestyle wrestling champion; a silver medalist at the 2003 Pan American Games, and later represented his nation Cuba at the 2004 Summer Olympics. Throughout his sporting career, Montero has been training under his personal coach and mentor Filiberto Delgado for CEAR Cuba.

Irakli Chochua is a retired amateur Georgian Greco-Roman wrestler, who competed in the men's featherweight category. He claimed a silver medal in the 54-kg division at the 2001 European Championships in Istanbul, Turkey, and later represented his nation Georgia at the 2004 Summer Olympics. Chochua also trained for Tshevardani Wrestling Club in Tbilisi, under his personal coach Villiam Kharazov.

Samir Benchenaf is a retired amateur Algerian Greco-Roman wrestler, who competed in the men's featherweight category. He qualified as a lone wrestler for the Algerian squad in the men's 55 kg class at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, by receiving a wildcard entry from the International Federation of Associated Wrestling (FILA). He lost two straight matches each to Cuba's Lázaro Rivas (0–11) and Iran's Hassan Rangraz (0–10) due to the ten-point superiority limit, leaving him on the bottom of the pool and finishing twentieth overall in the final standings.

Uran Kalilov is a Kyrgyz former amateur Greco-Roman wrestler, who competed in the men's featherweight category. He represented his nation Kyrgyzstan in two editions of the Olympic Games and also captured two silver medals each in the 54 and 55-kg division at the 2001 Asian Wrestling Championships in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia and at the 2002 Asian Games in Busan, South Korea. Kalilov also trained throughout his sporting career for Ryon Wrestling Club in Bishkek under his father and personal coach Yusup Kalilov.

Ercan Yıldız is a retired amateur Turkish Greco-Roman wrestler, who competed in the men's featherweight category. Considered one of Turkey's most prominent wrestlers of his decade, Yildiz has produced a full set of three career medals in different color, including his prestigious gold from the 1997 World Wrestling Championships, and later represented as part of the Turkish team in two editions of the Olympic Games. Before his sporting career ended shortly after the 2004 Summer Olympics, Yildiz trained as a member of the wrestling squad for the Istanbul Metropolitan Sports Club, under his longtime coach Gazi Özbilgin.

Lázaro Beltrán is a retired Cuban volleyball player. He competed in the men's tournament at the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona. He also helped Cuba to silver medals at the 1983 and 1987 Pan American Games, and the gold medal at the 1991 Pan American Games. Additionally, he helped Cuba win the silver medal at the 1990 FIVB World Championship in Brazil.

Lázaro Marín is a Cuban former volleyball player. He competed at the 1992 and the 1996 Summer Olympics. Marín helped the Cuban national team to the silver medal at the 1987 Pan American Games and the bronze medal at the 1995 Pan American Games. He also helped Cuba win the silver medal at the 1990 FIVB World Championship.

Lázaro Morales is a Cuban wrestler. He competed in the men's freestyle +100 kg at the 1976 Summer Olympics.

Lazaro Costa is a Cuban water polo player. He competed at the 1976 Summer Olympics and the 1980 Summer Olympics.
