Japanese female vocal/dance unit, MAX has released five studio albums, two compilations, three remix albums, and 31 singles. Three of their albums, Maximum (1996), Maximum Groove (1998), and Maximum Collection have topped the Oricon album charts. Four of their albums, including Maximum, Maximum II (1997), Maximum Groove, and Maximum Collection have been certified million selling albums by RIAJ. The group have 15 consecutive top ten singles, [1] 16 overall. Their sixth single, "Give Me a Shake" (1997) is their best selling single and their only single to top the Oricon singles chart. "Sakura" is the 45th single by Japanese boy band Arashi. It was released on February 25, 2015 under their record label J Storm. "Sakura" was used as the theme song for the television drama Ouroborous, starring actors Toma Ikuta and Shun Oguri. The single was released in two editions: a first press/limited edition and a regular edition. The first press/limited edition contains the B-side "Rise and Shine" and the music video and making-of for "Sakura" while the regular edition contains two B-sides. The single sold 465,381 copies in its first week and topped the weekly Oricon Singles Chart. With over 520,000 copies sold, the single was certified Double Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ). The single placed 11th on Oricon's 2015 yearly singles ranking.

Face Yourself is the third Japanese and fifth overall studio album by South Korean boy band BTS released on April 4, 2018, through Universal Music Japan and Def Jam Recordings. The album contains Japanese versions of songs previously released on the group's second Korean studio album Wings (2016), and the Love Yourself: Her (2017) extended play (EP), as well as three new, original Japanese-language tracks: "Don't Leave Me", "Let Go", and "Crystal Snow".
