Optical disc packaging is the packaging that accompanies CDs, DVDs, and other formats of optical discs. Most packaging is rigid or semi-rigid and designed to protect the media from scratches and other types of exposure damage.
Unplugged is a live album by the American rock band Alice in Chains, released on July 30, 1996, by Columbia Records. It was recorded on April 10, 1996, at the Brooklyn Academy of Music's Majestic Theatre for the television series MTV Unplugged. The show was directed by Joe Perota and first aired on MTV on May 28, 1996. Home video releases of the MTV broadcast were released on VHS in October 1996, and on DVD in October 1999. The MTV Unplugged was Alice in Chains' first concert in two and a half years, and contains live, acoustic versions of the band's biggest hits and lesser-known songs.
O' God, the Aftermath is the second studio album by American metalcore band Norma Jean and was released on March 1, 2005. Like their previous album Bless the Martyr and Kiss the Child, O God, the Aftermath was released on Solid State Records. This is the first album with vocalist Cory Brandan.
Bob Dylan's Greatest Hits Vol. II, also known as More Bob Dylan Greatest Hits, is the second compilation album by American singer-songwriter Bob Dylan, released on November 17, 1971 by Columbia Records. With Dylan not expected to release any new material for an extended period of time, CBS Records president Clive Davis proposed issuing a double LP compilation of older material. Dylan agreed, compiling it himself and suggesting that the package include a full side of unreleased tracks from his archives. After submitting a set of excerpts from The Basement Tapes that Davis found unsatisfactory, Dylan returned to the studio in September 1971 to recut several Basement songs, with Happy Traum providing backup.

15 Years After is a box set by the musical project Enigma. It was released by Virgin Germany on 9 December 2005. The box set contains eight discs, five of them original studio albums created from 1990 to 2003, two DVDs, and a bonus CD of Enigma's songs covered by Rollo Armstrong.
"To Be" is a song by Japanese recording artist Ayumi Hamasaki. It served as the third single from Hamasaki's second studio album Loveppears (1999). The track was released by Avex Trax in Japan and Taiwan on May 12, 1999, and through Avex Entertainment Inc. worldwide in September 2008. It was Hamasaki's final single to be distributed as a Mini-CD, a format that debuted at the start of her career in April 1998. "To Be" was written by Hamasaki herself, while production was handled by long-time collaborator Max Matsuura. Musically, it is a J-Pop that was written in third person perspective, much like the content from the parent album.
Thalía | Greatest Hits is a compilation album by Mexican pop star Thalía. Released on February 10, 2004, the album features 14 singles from her five previous albums of original material for EMI Latin, plus two previously unreleased songs "Acción y Reacción" & "Cuando Tu Me Tocas". All of the songs appear in Spanish, including those originally released in English. In April and May 2004, Thalía toured the United States and Mexico on her High Voltage Tour. This marked the first time Thalía toured the US.
Shine: The Hits is the first compilation album by Christian pop rock group Newsboys. It was released in 2000, spanning recordings from 1988 to 1998. Exclusive to the set were three new songs, an update of their 1996 hit "God Is Not a Secret", featuring dc Talk's TobyMac, a remix of their hit "Shine", and an eight-minute "Mega-Mix" of several of their biggest hits. Also included is an extended version of "I'm Not Ashamed", which differs from the original album version.
Völkerball is the second live album and DVD by German rock band Rammstein. It was released on 17 November 2006 in Europe, 19 December 2006 in Canada and on 18 September 2007 in the US. The album was advertised within media by the "Ich will" live video featured on the DVD and "Mann gegen Mann" single.
Live in Houston 1981: The Escape Tour is a live DVD/CD package by the American rock band Journey, released on 15 November 2005. The content of the package was also released on 16 May 2006 as a separate CD and separate DVD on the Columbia Records label. It was released on 180-gram vinyl in 2022, in both black and colored versions.
Greatest Hits is a CD/DVD compilation album by the band Blondie released in the UK on November 8, 2005 and internationally on March 6, 2006. It peaked at number 48 on the UK Albums Chart and charted for 7 weeks. This was the first Blondie hits package to combine the CD and DVD formats.
Best Of is the second compilation album by Mexican pop band RBD, released in September 2008 in Mexico and October in South America and the United States. The album compiles all of the singles included in the group's first five studio albums, Rebelde (2004), Nuestro Amor (2005), Celestial (2006), Rebels (2006) and Empezar desde Cero (2007), plus a studio version from "No Pares", a track released on their Live In Hollywood album (2006). The album was certified Gold in Serbia and Ecuador.
Ap'Tin Arhi: I Megaliteres Epitihies is the second box set album, sixth compilation album and eighteenth album overall by popular Greek pop-rock singer Sakis Rouvas, released on 17 August 2007 by Universal Music Greece. The set comprises three CDs and includes a bonus DVD with thirteen videos. The audio collection is a near-complete compilation of Rouvas' first works under the PolyGram Greece record company and included hits from his first five albums that have been divided into three categories: The Hit Singles, Love Songs, and The Remixes + Rest of the Best.
Total Madness is a 2009 compilation CD/DVD album by Madness, released by Union Square Music. It is principally a singles collection, though it also includes two album tracks from their debut album, One Step Beyond.... On release in the UK it reached #11 in the Official Album Charts, making it Madness' second hit album of 2009, the second being The Liberty of Norton Folgate (#5).
Evermore is a self-titled greatest hits album by New Zealand rock band Evermore released on 14 October 2009 in the UK and 12 March 2010 in Australia and New Zealand. The album is a collection of songs from the band's entire history, as well as three new songs including the single "Underground". It was the band's first album to be released in Europe, following a recording contract with Warner Bros. The new songs were written while the band was a supporting act for Pink's Funhouse Tour in Europe. Band member Jon Hume described the album as "a crazy mishmash of all the music that [Evermore has] made over the last seven or eight years".
The Singles Collection is the second greatest hits album by American singer Britney Spears. It was released on November 10, 2009, through Jive Records to commemorate her ten-year anniversary since entering the music industry. The compilation was released in many different formats, including a one-disc edition, a CD+DVD edition and a box set, which contained twenty-nine singles, each packaged in its own slip case with original cover art. The CD+DVD edition, as well as the box set, contains a DVD with Spears's music videos. The album includes a new song, "3", produced by Max Martin and Shellback.
Greatest Hits is the first compilation album by American country music duo Big & Rich. The album was released on September 29, 2009. The standard album features fifteen songs, including all of the duo's charting singles from their first three studio albums: 2004's Horse of a Different Color, 2005's Comin' to Your City and 2007's Between Raising Hell and Amazing Grace. A previously unreleased track, titled "The Man I Am Right Now," was also included. The DVD, which was released separately, features all of the duo's music videos, with the exception of the video for "Never Mind Me."
"Trust Your Love" is a song recorded by Japanese singer-songwriter Koda Kumi and was used as the second single from her debut album Affection (2002). It was released on May 9, 2001 via Rhythm Zone in two physical editions: a CD single and 12" vinyl. Additionally, Sounday and Orpheus Records distributed the song in North America with the same formats, but was remixed as a dance number by Hex Hector. The song was written by Kumi herself, whilst composing and production was handled by Kikuchi Kazuhito and Max Matsuura respectively. Musically, it is an R&B song that incorporates synthesizers and keyboards, and describes two lovers believing in each other.
Acoustic in Concert is the sixth live album by Scottish rock band Simple Minds, released in June 2017 in three different formats including a Blu-ray, DVD and double DVD-CD package.
