MV Renasa is a Dutch river tanker which was involved in an accident on 9 January 2004 which demolished a windmill.

History

Renasa was built by Stocznia Koźle Serwis Sp z o.o., (now Damen Shipyards Koźle) and launched in 1999. [1]

Accident

On 9 January 2004, Renasa was involved in an accident on the Prinses Margrietkanaal that resulted in the De Haensmolen, Grou, Friesland, which stood on the corner of the Pikmeer, being demolished. De Haensmolen has since been repaired and rebuilt in a new position by the Biggemeer. [2] [3]

K3 (group) Belgian pop band

K3 is a Belgian-Dutch girl group with a Dutch-language repertoire primarily enjoyed by pre-and adolescent children. Formed in 1998 by Niels William, the musical formation has dealt with four line-up changes ever since, with the original members being Karen Damen, Kristel Verbeke and Kathleen Aerts. The group's name is derived from first letters of the three original members. The current line-up is composed of Hanne Verbruggen, Marthe De Pillecyn and Julia Boschman. Their signature style and iconocity relies in all three girls mostly wearing the same outfit, and in the fact that each girl's hair represents one color the Belgian flag. The Damen Group is a Dutch defence, shipbuilding, and engineering conglomerate company based in Gorinchem, South Holland, the Netherlands.

The discography of the Finnish symphonic metal band Nightwish consists of nine studio albums, one extended play, six live albums, seven compilations, eighteen music videos and twenty-two singles. The Holland-class ocean-going patrol vessels are a class of four ocean-going patrol vessels constructed for the Royal Netherlands Navy. They are designed to fulfill patrol and intervention tasks against lightly armed opponents, such as pirates and smugglers, but have much higher level electronic and radar surveillance capabilities which are used for military stabilization and security roles, short of outright war. Without sonar or long range weapons, they utilize the surveillance capabilities of the Thales integrated mast, which integrates communication systems and two 4-faced phased arrays for air and surface search.

Kristel Philemon Charlotte Verbeke is a Flemish singer, actress, host and one of the three original members of the girl group K3. After leaving K3 in 2015, she became the group's manager, remaining in this position until 2017. Since leaving K3, Verbeke focused on TV producing and acting.

The Dutch shipbuilding firm The Damen Group, designs and manufactures a range of patrol vessels, of various sizes, including the Damen Stan 4207 Patrol Vessels. The Damen Stan patrol vessel designs' names include a four digit code, where the first two digits are the vessel's length, in metres, and the second two digits are its width.
