Madinat (Persian : مدنيات‎, also Romanized as Madīnāt; also known as ‘Arab Nāşer, Madīnāt Shameh, and Mudāināth)^[1] is a village in Mosharrahat Rural District, in the Central District of Ahvaz County, Khuzestan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 267, in 39 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is a pluricentric language primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script.

Mosharrahat Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in the Central District of Ahvaz County, Khuzestan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 7,651, in 1,452 families. The rural district has 29 villages.
