Collaborations with Gemitaiz, MM Vol. 1
Since 2011 Madman has embarked on a musical collaboration with rapper Gemitaiz, with whom he has released the mixtape Haterproof (2011) and the EP Detto, Fatto. (2012), both released through the Honiro Label. [7]
On June 28, 2013 Madman made the mixtape MM Vol. 1 Mixtape, consisting of 18 tracks. It was subsequently extracted from it as the only single "Come ti fa Mad", released by the label Tanta Roba of Gué Pequeno and DJ Harsh, [8] with whom Madman signed a recording contract on September 25. [9]
In 2014 the rapper returned to collaborate with Gemitaiz for the realization of the album Kepler , released on May 24. Anticipated by the videoclips of "Non se ne parla" and "Haterproof 2", the album met with great success in Italy, making its debut at the top of the Italian album chart and being certified gold by the Italian Music Industry Federation for over 25,000 copies sold in the country. Doppelganger and MM Vol. 2
In July 30, 2015, through his Facebook page, the rapper announced the completion of the second studio album Doppelganger, released on September 11 for Tanta Roba with Universal Music Group distributio. [11]
On 27 October 2016 the mixtape MM Vol.2 Mixtape was released for free download, consisting of 16 tracks and anticipated by the videoclip of Bolla papale freestyle. [12]
Back Home and MM Vol. 3
On February 2, 2018 Madman releases his third studio album Back Home, anticipated by the singles "Trapano" and "Centro" (with the collaboration of the singer Coez). [13] He also collaborates with rapper Nitro on the track called "O.K. Corral", from the album No Comment, [14] and with rapper Enigma in the track "Che roba è?!", contained in the album Shardana. [15]
A year later the mixtape MM Vol.3 Mixtape was released for digital download, promoted by the singles "7/8 Sour" and "Supernova". [16]
Scatola nera
In 2019 Madman returned to collaborate with Gemitaiz for the creation of a new part of the Veleno series, materializing on June 7 with the release of Veleno 7 . [17] The single achieved great success, debuting at the top of the Top Singles Billboard and beating the record of daily audience on Spotify Italy. [18] [19]
The song also played the role of the lead single on an album by the duo, entitled Scatola nera and released on September 20 of the same year. [20]
Italian hip hop started in the 1980s. One of the first hip hop crews to catch the attention of the Italian mainstream was Bologna's Isola Posse All Star, then and still today produced by Sandro Orru, who had written the soundtrack to the animated TV series Signor Rossi in the 1970s. The European Music Office's report on Music in Europe claimed that, in general, hip hop from the south of Italy tends to be harder than that from the north.

Cosimo Fini, better known by the stage name Guè, previously as Gué Pequeno, is an Italian rapper, songwriter and record producer. He was also earlier a member of various formations, notably the hip hop duo Club Dogo with rapper Jake La Furia and producer Don Joe. Between 1999 and 2001, he was also in "Sacre Scuole", a group made up by Gué Pequeno, Dargen D'Amico and Jake La Furia. In his career he collaborated with international artists such as Benny the Butcher, Kool G Rap, Akon, Rick Ross and Jadakiss.
Federico Leonardo Lucia, known professionally as Fedez, is an Italian rapper, singer, songwriter, social media personality and businessman. In 2011, he released the albums Penisola che non c'è and Il mio primo disco da venduto, released as free digital downloads. His first studio album, Sig. Brainwash - L'arte di accontentare, was released in 2013, and it debuted at number one on the Italian Albums Chart. The album, which spawned three singles, including the top 10 hit "Cigno nero" featuring Francesca Michielin, was later certified 3× Platinum by the Federation of the Italian Music Industry. As of December 2021, Fedez has 5 #1 studio albums, 25 top ten singles and 50 Platinum certifications.
Massimiliano Figlia, known professionally as Nerone, is an italian rapper from Milan, Italy.
Maurizio Pisciottu, known professionally as Salmo, is an Italian rapper, record producer and actor.
Ghali Amdouni, known by the mononym of Ghali, is an Italian rapper and record producer. Born in Milan from Tunisian parents, he originally started his career using the pseudonym Fobia.

Davide De Luca, better known as Gemitaiz, is an Italian rapper. Besides his solo work, he has collaborated with many artists, most notably the Italian rapper MadMan. He was born in Rome. From 2007 to 2011 he was a member of the "Xtreme Team", a collective of rappers from Rome. His debut solo album came out in May 2013, with the title "L'unico compromesso". It ended up peaking at the #3 spot on the Italian charts.
Matteo Professione, better known as Ernia, is an Italian rapper. Together with fellow hip hop artist Ghali, he founded the crew Troupe D'Elite, also including Maite and producer Fawzi. The group released the eponymous extended play in 2012 under label Tanta Roba, and the album Il mio giorno preferito in free download under Honiro Records label, in 2014.
Lauro De Marinis, known professionally as Achille Lauro, is an Italian singer, songwriter and rapper. He gained popularity in the Italian hip hop scene and he competed in the Sanremo Music Festival 2019 with the song "Rolls Royce", at the 2020 edition with the song "Me ne frego", and at the 2022 edition with the song "Domenica". He represented San Marino at the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 with the song "Stripper", after winning Una voce per San Marino, but failed to qualify for the final.
Francesco Marcello Scano, professionally known as Enigma, is an Italian rapper. He is mostly known for the project he created with Salmo, Slait and Hell Raton, Machete Empire Records, which he left for reasons not yet fully certain.
Nicola Albera, known professionally as Nitro, is an Italian rapper from Vicenza, Veneto.

Primo Brown, pseudonym of David Maria Belardi, was an Italian rapper, known for having played in the rap band Cor Veleno.

Kepler is a studio album by Italian rappers Gemitaiz and MadMan, released on 27 May 2014 by Tanta Roba. This album follows on from previous releases Haterproof (2011) and Detto, fatto. (2012), always born from the collaboration of the two artists. The disc contains songs recorded together with various rappers such as Gué Pequeno, Clementino and Jay Reaper.
Detto, fatto. is an EP by the Italian rappers Gemitaiz and MadMan, released on November 30, 2012 by the Honiro Label. This is the first official release of the two rappers, as well as the second album released by the two after the Haterproof mixtape (2011). The EP consists of seven songs, including Antidoping, made together with rapper Ensi.
L'unico compromesso is the first studio album by Italian rapper Gemitaiz, released on May 28, 2013 by Tanta Roba. The album represents the rapper's recording debut after numerous independently published mixtapes and features collaborations with various exponents of the Italian rap scene, including MadMan, Salmo and Bassi Maestro.
