Mafia Sasi, aka Sasidharan, is an Indian athlete and stuntman mainly in Malayalam movies. He has performed stunts in all South Indian languages for more than 1000 films. He performed stunts in the movie Mafia , which became a super hit, and he subsequently adopted the name Mafia Sasi. He has acted in a few movies as well. In 2022, he bagged National Award for best stunt choreography along with Supreme Sundar and Rajasekhar for Ayyappanum Koshiyum in the 68th National Film Awards.

Background

He was born as Sasidharan Puthiyaveettil, to Balan and Saraswathi at Chirakkal, Kannur. He received his education from Chirakkal Raja's School, Kannur and Madras Christian College. He is married to Sreedevi. [1] The couple has a son, Sandeep Sasi, and a daughter, Sandhya. Mafia Sasi's son Sandeep Sasi is making a debut through a Malayalam movie, Gunda. [2] [3]

Padmadalakshan, better known by his stage name Kuthiravattam Pappu, was a popular Indian stage and film actor. Kannur Sreelatha is an Indian actress from Kannur who is best known for her work in Malayalam cinema. Making her debut with the movie Prashnam Gurutharam, directed by Balachandra Menon, she has acted in many stage plays before entering into the film field.

Super Subbarayan is a stunt co-ordinator and actor in the Indian cinema, mainly in Tamil, Kannada, Telugu and Malayalam. He has been working in the industry since 1980. Thanga Pazham, known by his screen name Jaguar Thangam, is a stunt choreographer in the Indian film industry who works in almost all regional languages in India primarily in Tamil Cinema. He began Silambam when he was 6 years old. In the middle of 1978, he was given the name Jaguar Thangam by a Malayalam director Mr. Chandrakumar. Following his debut in Chandrakumar's Hindi drama Meena Bazzar (1978) as a stunt coordinator, his stunt career commenced with a brief phase of stunt sequences in nationwide film industry.

Anandakuttan was an Indian cinematographer who worked predominantly in Malayalam cinema. He worked on over 150 films including His Highness Abdullah, Bharatham, Kamaladalam, Sadayam, Chronic Bachelor, Akashadoothu, Harikrishnans, Punjabi House and Aniyathipraavu. He died in 2016, at the age of 61.
