Martha "Maggie" Bowen-Hanna [3] ( née Bowen; born 1980) [2] [4] is a retired American swimmer who won two medals in individual medley events at the 2001 World Aquatics Championships. [3]
In 2000, she narrowly missed Olympic qualification by finishing third in the 200 m medley in the US trials. She won several National Collegiate Athletic Association titles in medley and freestyle events in 2001–2003. [1]
Aaron Wells Peirsol is an American former competition swimmer and backstroke specialist who is a former world champion and world record-holder. He is a three-time Olympian and seven-time Olympic medalist. Individually, he currently holds the world record in the 200-meter backstroke event. In February 2011, Peirsol announced his retirement, saying, "I ended up doing everything I set out to do."
Magdalena Johanna Maria "Marleen" Veldhuis is a retired swimmer from the Netherlands. She was world record holder in four events. Veldhuis won eight world championships gold medals and 20 European championships gold medals. In the Olympics, she won a bronze medal in London 2012 in the 50 m freestyle, as well as three relay medals: bronze in Athens 2004, gold in Beijing 2008, and silver in London 2012.

She holds several Canadian national records in the butterfly over the 50-, 100-, and 200-metre distances in both the short and long courses. Savard also holds the Canadian junior butterfly record in the 200-metre event. She won the gold medal at the 100-metre butterfly event at the 2013 Summer Universiade, held in Kazan. Savard also won gold at the 2014 Commonwealth Games in the 100-metre butterfly in Glasgow, where she set the Commonwealth record in the process. At the same games, she won a bronze medal as a member of the women's 4×100-metre medley relay team.
Brigitte Schuchardt is a retired German swimmer who won a bronze medal in the 100 m breaststroke at the 1973 World Aquatics Championships, as well as gold and silver medals in medley events at the 1970 European Aquatics Championships. She also participated in the 1972 Summer Olympics in three individual events but did not reach the finals.
