Mahaul Theek Hai is a 1999 Indian Punjabi language comedy film directed by Jaspal Bhatti. [1] The film is satire on police departments of Punjab and their functioning. [2]

Plot

A boy meets girl. Boy's brother, is involved with an illegal businessman. Girl's father is cheated of land by his own brother and has become drunk. He is made to take blame of killing a political person in return for money so that police can close the file. While the real murderer who later arrives to take the blame so as to make his mark in crime world is portrayed as madman to hide the mischief done. [3]

The soundtrack for Mahaul Theek Hai was produced by H. M. Singh and released 12 February 1999. The soundtrack of the Hindi dubbed version was released in February 2000. [4]

Flop Show is an Indian television sitcom that first aired on DD National in 1989. The show was written and directed by satirical humorist Jaspal Bhatti, who also played himself as the main character. His wife Savita Bhatti produced the show and also acted in all the episodes as his wife. The sitcom was a satire on the socio-cultural problems faced by a common Indian at the time. Only 10 episodes of the show were produced.

Power Cut is a 2012 Indian Punjabi romantic comedy film. It was the last film directed by Jaspal Bhatti and produced by Paveljeet Singh under P & R Films and Mad Arts, Jaspal Bhatti Film School. The lead actors include Jaspal Bhatti himself, his wife Savita Bhatti and several well-known Punjabi actors. The film was released on 26 October 2012 worldwide. The movie mocks the power outages and corruption in India, especially in the state of Punjab.
