This following is the list of films to which Mahesh Bhatt has contributed. He has produced and directed nearly 80 films and has also contributed in more than 100 films as writer in predominantly Hindi-language films. Bhatt and his brother Mukesh Bhatt joined hands to establish Vishesh Films and then provided stories and screenplays for over twenty films, many of which were box-office successes. Bhatt has produced multiple contemporary films such as Raaz (2002), Jism (2003), Murder (2004), Gangster (2006), Woh Lamhe (2006), Jannat (2008), Murder 2 (2011), and Aashiqui 2 (2013). [1]

It became India's official entry for the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film for that year. The 1986 film Naam was his first piece of commercial cinema. The album was produced by Bhushan Kumar and Mahesh Bhatt under the banner T-Series and Vishesh Films. The enormous success of multi composer setup has been followed in many films.

<i>Aashiqui</i> (soundtrack) 1989 soundtrack album by Nadeem–Shravan

The soundtrack to the 1990 Hindi-language romantic musical film Aashiqui features twelve songs composed by Nadeem–Shravan and lyrics written by Sameer, Rani Mallik and Madan Pal. Released by T-Series on 26 December 1989, it became the highest-selling Bollywood soundtrack of all time with around 2 crore units sold. Its success established the duo to become one of the leading music composers in the Hindi film industry.
