Mariano Perez Flormata Jr., more popularly known by his screen name Neil Perez, is a Filipino actor, model, police officer, and male beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Mister International 2014 in Ansan, Seoul, South Korea. He is the first Filipino to win the Mister International title in the history of the competition.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Philippines–Venezuela relations</span> Bilateral relations

The Philippines–Venezuela relations refers to the diplomatic relations between Venezuela and the Philippines. The two countries share common Hispanic heritage. Filipino and Venezuelan relations even predate the establishment of these specific nations. Both the Philippines and Venezuela were part of the same Spanish administrative division, the Viceroyalty of New Spain. During this time, people from the Philippines and Venezuela freely moved into each other's areas since they were considered one cohesive territory. Venezuelan participation in Philippine affairs even endured after Venezuelan independence since it is recorded that Venezuelans were among the Latin American soldiers and officers supporting Emperor Andrés Novales of the Philippines, in his short-lived revolt against Spain. Bilateral Relations between the two countries has been warm and friendly since it formal establishment of ties on 27 August 1968. Venezuela has an embassy in Manila and the Philippines is accredited to Venezuela from its embassy in Brasília, Brazil.

Miss Grand Korea is a lower concept of Miss Grand International that is held annually as a national female beauty pageant in Korea since 2020. This pageant is to select the representative for Korea to Miss Grand International, which is a pageant promoting World Peace and is against all violent conflicts.

Mister Global 2023 was the 9th Mister Global competition, held in Maha Sarakham, Thailand on November 26, 2023. The contest was won by Jason Bretfelean of India who was crowned by Juan Carlos Ariosa of Cuba.
