Manfredi Ravetto (born 13 March 1975) [1] is an Italian former team manager at Caterham's Formula 1 team.
Ravetto is a graduate of economics. For five years he was sports director for Formula 3000 and German Formula 3. He also worked in the marketing department of Minardi's Formula 1 team. In 2003 he became the sports director of Team Draco Multiracing USA in Euro Formula 3000. [2]
Ravetto was the manager of racing driver Bertrand Baguette. He also worked in the HRT F1 Team, where he was responsible for the business side of the team. On July 2, 2014, he became deputy head of Caterham, and in September replaced Christijan Albers as team leader. [3]
Christijan Albers is a Dutch former professional racing driver. After success in the DTM he drove in Formula One from 2005 until the 2007 British Grand Prix, shortly after which he was dropped by the Spyker F1 team. In 2008, he returned to the DTM series as a driver for the Audi Futurecom TME team. Albers acted as Team Principal and CEO of the Caterham F1 Team from July to September 2014 after it was acquired by new team owners. His estimated net-worth is $50 million
The Circuito do Estoril or Autódromo do Estoril, officially known as Autódromo Fernanda Pires da Silva, is a motorsport race track on the Portuguese Riviera, outside of Lisbon, owned by state-run holding management company Parpública. Its length is 4.182 km (2.599 mi). It was the home of the Formula One Portuguese Grand Prix from 1984 to 1996. The capacity of the motorsport stadium is 45,000.
