Manzinus is a lunar impact crater that is located in the southern region of the Moon's near side. It lies less than one crater diameter to the south-southwest of the crater Mutus, and to the northwest of Boguslawsky. The latter is a crater with nearly the same dimension and a comparable appearance to Manzinus.

The outer rim of Manzinus is worn, eroded, and somewhat irregular. The outer rim to the north-northeast is joined to the smaller Manzinus R, and the crest along that side is lower and forms a saddle. There is a cluster of small craters along the southern side that partly overlap each other, consisting of the craters D, E, G, and N listed in the table below. The heavily eroded satellite crater Manzinus A lies along the southeastern inner wall. Similarly the small crater Manzinus S lies along the northern inner wall, and the cup-shaped Manzinus J overlies the northwest rim.

The interior surface has been resurfaced in the past, and now forms a level, featureless plain that is marked only by a few tiny craterlets. The floor has the same albedo as the surrounding terrain.

India's Chandrayaan-3 mission successfully landed near Manzinus U at 69.37 degrees south latitude and 32.35 degrees east longitude

To the south of this formation is the large crater Zeeman. West of Dawson is the crater Crommelin, and to the north lies Fizeau.

Birkhoff is a giant lunar walled plain that is located on the far side of the Moon, in the northern hemisphere. This formation is an ancient impact site that has been heavily eroded, and the surface reshaped by multiple craters in the interior and along the rim. The outer wall is bordered by the craters Carnot to the south, Rowland along the west rim, and Stebbins to the north. Just to the northeast is van't Hoff.

Bhabha is a lunar impact crater that is located in the southern part of the Moon's far side. It is nearly attached to the southeast rim of the larger crater Bose, and the outer rampart of that crater has produced a slight inward bulge along the northwest face of Bhabha. Other nearby craters of note include Stoney to the east, and Bellinsgauzen to the south.

Drygalski is a large lunar impact crater that lies along the southern limb of the Moon. It partly overlies the crater Ashbrook to the west on the far side of the Moon. Just to the north of Drygalski is the smaller Boltzmann. The location of this crater restricts its observation from the Earth, and even under conditions of favorable libration it is viewed from the edge. It is only illuminated by the Sun at an oblique angle, and it lies close to the south polar craters that are permanently shielded from sunlight.

Evdokimov is a lunar impact crater on the far side of the Moon. It lies to the east of the crater Evershed, and west-southwest of Gadomski. This is a worn and eroded feature with a somewhat indistinct outer rim that is little more than a slight ridge in the surface. The rim is better formed along the western and eastern sides. A small crater with a relatively high albedo lies along the inner wall to the northeast, and is surrounded by a small, bright skirt of ejecta. The interior floor is nearly featureless, with only a few indistinct small crater rims marking the surface.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Harriot (crater)</span> Lunar impact crater

Harriot is a lunar impact crater that is located on the far side of the Moon from the Earth. It lies just to the north of the much larger crater Seyfert. To the northeast of Harriot is the crater Cantor. About one and a half crater diameters to the north of Harriot is the eastern end of a crater chain named Catena Sumner. This feature continues to the west-northwest for a distance of 247 km, passing to the north of the crater Sumner.
