Margan (Persian : مارگان‎, also Romanized as Mārgān; also known as Mārgūn, Mārgūn-e Bālā, and Mūrgāh)^[1] is a village in Komehr Rural District, in the Central District of Sepidan County, Fars Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 226, in 55 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is a pluricentric language primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script.

Komehr Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in the Central District of Sepidan County, Fars Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 3,812, in 853 families. The rural district has 11 villages.

The Central District of Sepidan County is a district (bakhsh) in Sepidan County, Fars Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 24,059, in 5,363 families. The District has one city: Ardakan. The District has two rural districts (dehestan): Khafri Rural District and Komehr Rural District.
