Laurel V. Korholz was the Women's Assistant Coach for the United States Rowing Team. As a coach, Korholz coached the US Women's Double at the 2008 Summer Olympics. The Beijing Olympics was the fourth Olympics she attended; her first as a coach. As an athlete, she won a silver medal at the 2004 Summer Olympics in the women's eight. Now she is the Assistant Head Coach of Heavyweight Rowing at Columbia University as of 2022

A national and Commonwealth Games champion, she won a bronze medal in the coxed four at the 1984 Summer Olympics, rowing in the three seat. It was Australia's first Olympic medal in women's rowing.
Virginia Lee is an Australian former rower. She was a four-time national champion, a 1992 world champion, a dual Olympian and an Olympic bronze medallist who competed in both sweep oared and sculling events in the lightweight division.
Emma Robinson is a Canadian rower. Robinson won two medals at the Summer Olympics as part of the women's eight rowing teams for Canada in 1996 in Atlanta and the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney. Robinson is also a three time world champion in the women's coxless pairs, when she won gold from 1997 to 1999, she has an additional silver medal, and three bronze, for a total of seven World Rowing Championships medals. She was named the Pairs Team of the Year at the National Sports Awards, winning in 1997 with Alison Korn and in 1999 with Theresa Luke.
Marina Nikolayevna Znak-Sinelshchikova is a Belarusian rower, who won a bronze medal at the 1996 Summer Olympics while representing Belarus. Before 1991, she competed internationally for the Soviet Union, winning two golds and a silver medal for the Soviets at the World Rowing Championships from 1985 to 1991. While appearing at the World Rowing Championships for Belarus from 1995 to 1999, she won a further two gold medals and a bronze.

She competed at the Summer Olympics in 1996, 2000 and 2004; and at World Rowing Championships in 1997, 1998, 2001, 2002, and 2003. She won World Championships as both a sculler and a sweep-oared rower. She attended Toorak College in Mount Eliza, Victoria.
