Louise Bernice Arbour is a Canadian lawyer,prosecutor and jurist.
The Supreme Court of Canada is the highest court in the judicial system of Canada. Rosalie Silberman Abella is a Canadian jurist. In 2004,Abella was appointed to the Supreme Court of Canada,becoming the first Jewish woman and refugee to sit on the Canadian Supreme Court bench. She retired from the federal bench in 2021.
Claire L'Heureux-Dubé is a retired Canadian judge who served as a puisne justice on the Supreme Court of Canada from 1987 to 2002. She was the first woman from Quebec and the second woman appointed to this position,after Bertha Wilson. Previously,she had been one of the first woman lawyers to handle divorce cases,and was the first woman appointed as a judge to the Quebec Superior Court and the Quebec Court of Appeal.

Abbott's appointment directly from the Cabinet of Canada as Finance Minister to the Supreme Court is considered one of the most controversial in the Supreme Court's history.

Marc Nadon LL.L. is a supernumerary judge on the Canadian Federal Court of Appeal. He has practised law in both Quebec and the United Kingdom,focusing on maritime and transportation law. He was also an arbitrator and former lecturer in law at the Universitéde Sherbrooke. Nadon was nominated by Prime Minister Stephen Harper to be a puisne justice of the Supreme Court of Canada in October 2013. Following controversy about the appointment,the federal government referred the constitutionality of the appointment to the Supreme Court of Canada. In their decision in Reference Re Supreme Court Act,ss 5 and 6,the Supreme Court quashed his appointment,concluding he did not meet the eligibility criteria provided in the Supreme Court Act.
Richard Wagner is a Canadian jurist serving as the 18th and current chief justice of Canada since 2017. He previously served as a puisne justice of the Quebec Court of Appeal (2011–2012) and of the Supreme Court of Canada (2012–2017).
Nicholas Kasirer is a puisne justice of the Supreme Court of Canada. He was sworn into office on September 16,2019.
Suzanne Côté is a puisne justice of the Supreme Court of Canada. She was nominated by Prime Minister Stephen Harper to replace retiring justice Louis LeBel. Marie-Lucie Morin is a Canadian public official,lawyer,and former diplomat and a former Committee member of the National Security and Intelligence Review Agency of Canada,and was also the same for its predecessor the Security Intelligence Review Committee from 2015,till the latter was superseded by the former in 2019. As such,she is also a member of the Queen's Privy Council for Canada and entitled to be styled as The Honourable. She is on the board of directors of AGT Food and Ingredients and Stantec since 2016.
Sheilah L. Martin is a puisne justice of the Supreme Court of Canada,having served in that role since December 18,2017. She was nominated to the court by Prime Minister Justin Trudeau on November 29,2017. Before her appointment to Canada's highest court,Martin had served on the Court of Appeal of Alberta,the Court of Appeal for the Northwest Territories,and the Court of Appeal of Nunavut since 2016,and the Court of Queen's Bench of Alberta from 2005 to 2016. Martin is considered an expert in judicial ethics.
Manon Savard is a Canadian jurist who has been Chief Justice of the Quebec Court of Appeal since June 2020.
