Granby High School is a public high school in Norfolk, Virginia. The school is part of the Norfolk Public Schools system. It is the only high school in the school division that offers an International Baccalaureate program. The school building is located on historic Granby Street where the south end is at Downtown Norfolk and the north end where the beaches of Ocean View lie. Granby is also less than a mile away from the historic Wards Corner, a local shopping and eating center. In 2010, Newsweek placed Granby in the top 1300 of "America's Top Public High Schools". The Association of Military Colleges and Schools of the United States (AMCSUS) is a nonprofit service organization of schools with military programs approved by the Department of Defense and which maintain good standing in their regional accrediting organizations. Fairmont Senior High School, is a public high school in Fairmont, West Virginia. The current school building, built in 1928, is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Serving grades nine through twelve, it is one of three high schools in Marion County, along with East Fairmont High School and North Marion High School.

East Saint Louis Senior High School is the only high school located in East St. Louis, Illinois. Three Rivers Athletic Conference

The Three Rivers Athletic Conference is an Ohio High School Athletic Association (OHSAA) high school athletic conference that began athletic competition in 2011 and has 10 high schools from Northwest Ohio, seven of which are from the Toledo metropolitan area, and one each from the cities of Findlay, Fremont and Lima. Ken Myers, former director of public safety and public services in Fremont, is the league's inaugural commissioner. The three rivers from which the conference derives its name are the Maumee, Sandusky, and Blanchard.

Dunbar School is a historic school building located in Fairmont, Marion County, West Virginia. It was built in 1928, and the first classes were held in January 1929. The school was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2015.

Flora Lonette Davis Crittenden was an American educator and civil rights activist in Virginia turned politician. She worked as a teacher and guidance counselor in Newport News, Virginia public schools for 32 years, then in 1986 was elected to the Newport News City Council where she served for four years. In 1993 she was elected a member of the Virginia House of Delegates from Newport News, Virginia, and served for eleven years. In 2000, she became chair of the board of Christopher Newport University. A science and math magnet middle school in Newport News is named for her.
