Mark Lee Ren is a Singaporean athlete who specialises in the 100m and 200m sprints. As a student at Anglo-Chinese School (Independent) -- and coached by former Singapore sprinter Hamkah Afik -- he broke the 100m and 200m national schools records in 2022 with timings of 10.59s and 21.62s respectively. [2] [3] At the 2023 SEA Games in Phnom Penh, he qualified for the final, eventually finishing fifth with a time of 21.48s. [4] In the 4 x 100 metres relay, he was part of the quartet that earned a bronze.

Hamkah bin Mohamed Afik is a former Singapore sprinter who competed in the Southeast Asian Games, Asian Games, and Commonwealth Games. He made his international debut at the 1989 Southeast Asian Games in Malaysia at the age of 17. In the 1993 Southeast Asian Games in Singapore, he won the silver medal in the 200m. He was also part of the team that won bronze in the men's 4x100m relay team in the same games, repeating the feat at the 1997 Southeast Asian Games in Indonesia. In the 2003 Southeast Asian Games in Vietnam, he was part of the men's 4x100m relay team that won silver.

Jun Jie Calvin Quek is a Singapore sprinter who specialises in the 400m and 400m hurdles. As a schoolboy, Quek was a perennial medallist at National Schools in both events. He first broke the 400m hurdles national record in February 2022 with a time of 51.73s at a Southeast Asian Games Trial. Subsequently, at the SEA Games in Hanoi, he rewrote his national record with a time of 51.19s and became the first Singaporean to win a SEA Games medal in the event since 1969. At the 2023 SEA Games in Phnom Penh, he ran 50.75s to secure a bronze again. At the same competition, he was part of the 4x400m quartet that broke the national record. In the World University Games, he ran 50.43s to rewrite his 400m hurdles national record. Other competitions Quek had previously competed in include the 2022 Commonwealth Games and 2022 Asian Games.
