The Boston Avenue United Methodist Church, located in downtown Tulsa, Oklahoma, and completed in 1929, is considered to be one of the finest examples of ecclesiastical Art Deco architecture in the United States, and has been placed on the National Register of Historic Places. Built by a congregation of the Methodist Episcopal Church, South, it was designated a National Historic Landmark in 1999. It has 15 floors.

It is one of Oregon's few high-style Gothic Revival churches outside of Portland, and has one of the rare tall spires left standing in the state.
Marshallton is an unincorporated community, census designated place, and federal historic district in West Bradford Township, Chester County, Pennsylvania, United States. As of 2020, the CDP had a population of 500. It is one of three historic districts in West Bradford Township that are on the National Register of Historic Places. The village is largely known for its historic buildings, some notable restaurants, and the nearby Highland Orchards, a pick-your-own orchard offering a variety of produce year round and very popular for its apples and pumpkins as well as products made from the same. Highland Orchards is a frequent field trip destination for local schools, especially in the fall.
Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church is a historic African American congregation and building in Iowa City, Iowa, United States. The congregation was established in 1868 mostly by free people of color from the south and the rest from the north. James W. Howard, a member of the congregation, bought property in a recent addition to the city and sold the southern half to the church for $50. This white frame church was built on the property the same year. Iowa City has always had a small African American community and over the years the congregation grew and declined in numbers and in finances. The original church, which is 600 square feet (56 m2) and has room for 50 people, was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2000. The congregation outgrew the small church and a new 4,000-square-foot (370 m2) sanctuary was built in 2010 that holds three times the current congregation's size.

It has a steeply pitched gable roof and features a bell tower capped with a steepled, square belfry.

The German Methodist Episcopal Church, also known as St. Paul's German Methodist Episcopal Church, is a historic church building in Burlington, Iowa, United States. The German Methodist Episcopal Church was organized in Burlington in 1845. It was the second of eight German congregations established in the city of various denominations. The Reverend Sebastian Barth, the first pastor, initially held services in a small frame house, and then in the basement of another church. The first permanent home for the congregation was a small brick church that was built in 1848. This structure was built from 1868 to 1869. It is a Victorian Gothic structure with Romanesque elements. The stone for the exterior was quarried from the site where the church was built.
Pilotburg Church is a historic church building southeast of the town of Wellman, Iowa, United States. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1996. The former church building is the only remaining structure from the town of Pilotburg, which had been established in 1839 as Pilots Grove. Built by the Methodist Episcopal Church in 1881, it was the second church in the town. The frame structure measures 50 by 20 feet. In the 1950s the church was moved from its original limestone foundation, still extant, to a poured/concrete block basement. A kitchen was added inside at the same time. The Methodist congregation disbanded in 1968, and the church was sold and converted into a house.
The First United Methodist Church is a Methodist church that was founded in 1868 in Reno, Nevada. In 1868 the first meetings were held in the local schoolhouse on the corner of what is now First and Sierra Streets. In 1871 The first church was erected and dedicated on Sierra Street between First and Second Streets. In the early 1900s the wood-framed church was moved to the back of the lot and a new brick building was added to it. And finally in 1925 plans for a new building were made. Designed by Wythe, Blaken, and Olson of Oakland, the church is one of the first poured concrete buildings in Reno and utilizes Gothic Revival architectural themes. The corner stone for the current historical building was placed in 1926, with the building being dedicated in December of that same year. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983; the listing included two contributing buildings. The second building is a parish house designed by local architect Donald Parsons and built in c.1840. In 1965 another addition was done to add on what is currently the fellowship hall, and Sunday school class rooms.
Benjamin Chapel and Richwoods Cemetery, also known as Richwoods Methodist Protestant Church or simply Richwoods Church, is a historic church located south of the unincorporated community of Trenton in rural Henry County, Iowa, United States. This front gable, frame church building was built by a congregation of the Methodist Protestant Church in 1877. The congregation itself was formed sometime after 1843. The building has two entrances on the main facade, one for men and the other for women. The genders then sat separately on their respective sides of the church building. The interior still has the original pews with dividers. There is also a small tower, capped with a spire, above the facade. The Methodist Protestant Church continued to maintain the building until 1921 when they sold it to the Benjamin Chapel Association. The association was named for Benjamin B. Allender, who was instrumental in building the church. Regular church services and Sunday school classes were held until 1940, and occasionally until 1952. The cemetery behind the church was a burial ground for the Methodist congregation as well as other residents from the Richwoods area. It is still an active burial ground. The church and cemetery were added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2015.
The former Second Baptist Church is a historic building located in Mount Pleasant, Iowa, United States. The First Colored Baptist Church of Mt. Pleasant, later Second Baptist Church, was founded in the summer of 1863 by members of First Baptist Church for the education and worship of the community's African American population. The congregation is also referred to as the "African Baptist Church". It is possible that this building was the original Methodist Episcopal church building constructed in 1843. It is believed that it was moved here in 1856 or 1857 for a newly established congregation of the Methodist Protestant Church. Either that or the main part of this small frame church was built here at that time. Regardless, the Methodist Protestant congregation did not succeed and the property was sold to First Baptist Church in January 1864 for use by the "Colored Baptist Church."
