Mary Sullivan Heath is an American educator and politician. She served as a member of the New Hampshire House of Representatives, representing Hillsborough 41, from 2013 to 2024. She is a Democrat and served as the House's Majority Floor Leader[ citation needed ]. She is the former dean of the School of Education at Southern New Hampshire University.

Politics

She served as a member of the New Hampshire House of Representatives, representing Hillsborough 41, from 2013 to 2024. She is a Democrat and served as the House's Majority Floor Leader[ citation needed ].

In 2019, she was awarded the New Hampshire Democrat's Flag Day Award for her "incredible impact" on the Democratic Party. [2]

She endorsed Michael Bennet during his 2020 presidential campaign. [3]

John Steven Vaillancourt was an American politician, who served as a member of the New Hampshire House of Representatives. He represented Hillsborough County District 15, the city of Manchester Ward 8. He served from 1996 to 2014 and from 2016 until his death. He served as a member of the Democratic Party, the Libertarian Party, and later the Republican Party. Vaillancourt also served as Manchester alderman for Ward 8 from 1999 to 2001 while serving in the State House of Representatives.

The 2020 New Hampshire gubernatorial election was held on November 3, 2020, to elect the governor of New Hampshire. Incumbent Republican governor Chris Sununu was re-elected to a third two-year term in office, defeating his opponent Dan Feltes, the Majority Leader of the Senate. Nine governors ran for re-election in this cycle and all nine were re-elected. Sununu's win marked the first time since 1986 that a Republican was elected to a third term as governor, in which year his father, John H. Sununu was reelected for his third and final term. The elder Sununu chose not to seek reelection in 1988, instead becoming George H. W. Bush's chief of staff in 1989.

David E. Cote is an American politician in the state of New Hampshire. He is a former member of the New Hampshire House of Representatives, sitting as a Democrat from the Hillsborough 3 district, having been first elected in 1982 and serving until his resignation in 2023. Cote currently serves as house minority leader, and ranking member on the election law and redistricting committees. He previously chaired the election law and judiciary committees. As of early 2022, he had not cast a vote or attended a House session since March 11, 2020 due to COVID health concerns. On July 5, 2023, Cote resigned after the New Hampshire House refused to allow continued remote participation.
