Shelley Devine is an American politician. A member of the Democratic Party, she has represented Hillsborough 5 in the New Hampshire House of Representatives since 2022. [1] [2] She is also a member of the NH House of Representatives Judiciary Committee (2022-2024).

David E. Cote is an American politician in the state of New Hampshire. He is a former member of the New Hampshire House of Representatives, sitting as a Democrat from the Hillsborough 3 district, having been first elected in 1982 and serving until his resignation in 2023. Cote currently serves as house minority leader, and ranking member on the election law and redistricting committees. He previously chaired the election law and judiciary committees. As of early 2022, he had not cast a vote or attended a House session since March 11, 2020 due to COVID health concerns. On July 5, 2023, Cote resigned after the New Hampshire House refused to allow continued remote participation.

Melanie Ann Levesque is an American politician from the state of New Hampshire. A Democrat, Levesque represented the 12th district in the New Hampshire Senate from 2018 until 2020; she was the first African American to serve in that body. Boyd defeated the Democratic nominee, former state representative Wendy E.N. Thomas, by a margin of 2,531 votes to 2,144. Boyd's campaign was assisted by Mike Pompeo, a former United States secretary of state, and Tom Cotton, a United States senator from Arkansas.

In 2018, Thomas, a local activist and member of the Democratic Party, successfully ran for the New Hampshire House of Representatives, receiving 6.5% of the vote in the multi-member constituency, placing 7th out of the 8 winning candidates. In 2020, Thomas ran for re-election in the 21st district; however, she was defeated in the general election, receiving 6.2% of the vote and placing 10th.

The 2024 New Hampshire Democratic presidential primary was held on January 23, 2024, as part of the Democratic Party primaries for the 2024 presidential election. The January New Hampshire primary was not sanctioned by the Democratic National Committee (DNC). The DNC-approved 2024 calendar placed the South Carolina primary first, but New Hampshire state law mandates them to hold the first primary in the country, and a "bipartisan group of state politicians", including the chairs of the Democratic and the Republican parties, announced that the state would preserve this status. Thus, the DNC initially stripped all 33 of the state's delegates that would have been allocated to the Democratic National Convention. The delegates will be allowed to be seated at the convention following the holding of a party-backed firehouse primary on April 27.

Maria Perez is an El-Salvadoran born American politician who served as a member of the New Hampshire House of Representatives, representing the 43rd district which includes part of Hillsborough County First elected as a Democrat in 2020, Perez left the party to sit as an Independent in 2023, citing a lack of progress on issues and "feeling unwelcome in the party". Her party switch was met with mostly negative reactions from the Democratic Caucus, who cited the decision as "disappointing".

William Infantine is an American politician. He serves as a Republican member for the Hillsborough 16th district of the New Hampshire House of Representatives. He currently is the chair of the Labor, Industrial and Rehabilitative Services Committee.
