Matthew Ko Kwan-yin (born 20 May 1984) is a Hong Kong actor. In September 2014, Ko left TVB after his contract ended [1] [2] to later sign with Catchy Tone Artists in Mainland China. [3]
Matthew emigrated to Toronto, Ontario, Canada with his parents at the age of seven. He attended Dr. G.W. Williams Secondary School and played on the Wildcats Basketball team. He then entered York University. In 2003, he participated in the Toronto Sunshine Boyz election and won the championship. He returned to Hong Kong in 2004 and worked as a model. In 2005, he became the first ever winner of Hong Kong's Mr. Hong Kong male beauty contest and subsequently signed a contract with TVB. [4] Ko speaks fluent English, French, Cantonese and Mandarin.[ citation needed ]

The Mr. Hong Kong Contest, abbreviated as Mr. HK (港生), is a beauty contest for young men organized by the leading Hong Kong television station, TVB. The contest began in 2005, was suspended from 2012 to 2015 and in 2017, and then resumed. Winners have the opportunity to represent Hong Kong in the Mister World contest.

Karl Ting Tze Long is a Hong Kong actor and television presenter. Ting joined TVB after winning first-runner up, Mr. Photogenic, and Most Liked by Audience awards at the Mr. Hong Kong 2016 contest. He was the first Mr. Photogenic, and the youngest contestant to win the most awards in the contest's history.
