Central Region, Uganda Region in Central, Uganda

The Central region is one of four regions in the country of Uganda. As of Uganda's 2014 census, the region's population was 9,529,227. It is coterminous with the Kingdom of Buganda, one of the ancient African monarchies that are constitutionally recognised in Uganda.

Mawogola County is west and south of Lwemiyaga County, and together they form Sembabule District. [2] Among the sub-counties that constitute Mawogola County are (a) Lwebitakuli sub-county [3] (b) Lugusulu sub-county [4] (c) Mateete sub-county [5] (d) Mijwala sub-county [6] and (e) Sembabule Town Council.
