Max Hoff (born 12 September 1982) is a German sprint canoeist and former wildwater canoeist who has competed since the late 2000s. He has won a total of eight medals at the ICF Canoe Sprint World Championships with five golds (K-1 1000 m: 2009, 2010, [1] 2013; K-1 5000 m: 2011 and K-4 1000 m: 2011 ) and three silvers (K-1 5000 m: 2010, 2014, 2015).
At the 2012 Summer Olympics, he won the bronze medal in the K-1 1000 m. Four years later, at the 2016 Summer Olympics, he won a gold medal in the K-4 1000 m event as well as finishing seventh overall in the K-1 1000m event. He finished fifth in the K-1 1000 m event at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing.
Gert Fridolf Fredriksson was a Swedish sprint canoeist. Competing in four Summer Olympics, he won eight medals including six golds, one silver, and one bronze. At the 1964 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Fredriksson was head coach of the Swedish team.

Karen Hoff was a Danish sprint canoeist who competed in the late 1940s and early 1950s. She became the first female Olympic champion in the sport of canoeing when she won the gold medal in the K-1 500 m event at the 1948 Summer Olympics. Karen also won two medals at the ICF Canoe Sprint World Championships with a gold in K-2 500 m in 1948 and a silver in K-1 500 m in 1950.
Milan Janić was a Serbian sprint canoeist who competed from the late 1970s to the mid-1980s for Yugoslavia. Competing in two Summer Olympics, he won a silver medal in the K-1 1000 m event at Los Angeles in 1984.
Ingemar Harald Robert Hedberg was a Swedish sprint canoeist who competed in the early 1950s. He won the silver medal in the K-2 1000 m event at the 1952 Summer Olympics in Helsinki. Hedberg also won three gold medals at the 1950 ICF Canoe Sprint World Championships in Copenhagen, earning them in the K-1 4×500 m, K-2 500 m, and K-2 1000 m events. He died in May 2019 at the age of 99.
Haralambie Ivanov was a Romanian sprint canoeist who competed in the mid to late 1960s. Competing in two Summer Olympics, he won a silver in the K-4 1000 m event at Mexico City in 1968. Ivanov also won six medals at the ICF Canoe Sprint World Championships with four golds, a silver, and a bronze. He died in Crișan, Tulcea in 2004.
