Mayumi "Mimi" Roller (born March 11, 1991) is an actress from the United States Virgin Islands.
She also represented the USVI in the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, England in the women's Laser Radial class. [1] [2]
Among many other regattas, Mayumi also competed in the Kieler Woche 2014 together with the sailor Kayla McComb-Raab as Team MK Sailing in the boat class 49erFX.
Mayumi grew up on an organic farm (Coral Bay Organic Gardens - Josephine's Greens) on the island of St. John, where her older brother, Hugo Roller, inspired her to start sailing.
Mayumi attended St. Mary's College of Maryland, where she was an NCAA All-American athlete, and contributed to numerous podium finishes at various National Championships throughout her time at St. Mary's.
Her acting career began in 2017 when she acted in a Travel Channel commercial followed by a series of commercials for the U.S. Virgin Islands Department of Tourism. Since then she has acted in a number of commercials, films, and TV shows, most notably The Resident, starring Matt Czuchry, Emily VanCamp, Manish Dayal, Bruce Greenwood, and Malcolm-Jamal Warner. She also portrays Cole Hauser's wife, Deelie Boyd, in the thriller The Ritual Killer, starring Morgan Freeman.

The United States Virgin Islands (USVI) sent a delegation to compete at the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin, Italy from 10 to 26 February 2006. The only competitor sent by the USVI was Anne Abernathy, who broke her wrist in a practice run and was therefore unable to compete.
The United States Virgin Islands competed in the 2008 Summer Olympics, which were held in Beijing, the People's Republic of China from August 8 to August 24, 2008. The appearance of its 23-person delegation marked its fifteenth appearance at the Olympic games, and its tenth appearance at the Summer Olympic games. In total, seven athletes participated on behalf of the Virgin Islands in Beijing. Of those, John Jackson and Tabarie Henry progressed to a post-preliminary event, and Henry reached semifinals in his own. There were no Virgin Islander medalists at the Beijing Olympics.
Jennifer Margaret Armstrong is an Olympic sailor from New Zealand. After competing for her native country at the 1992 Olympics, she moved to Australia in 1996 and won a historic sailing gold for her adopted country at the 2000 Olympics.
Michael Mackay McIntyre MBE is a British sailor, who was the Olympic champion in the Star class event at the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul. He also competed at the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles, and won multiple British Finn class championships. In 1989, McIntyre was awarded an MBE for services to yachting.
John Frederick Foster is a sailor from the US Virgin Islands. He competed at six Olympic Games, five in sailing at Summer Olympics from 1972 to 1992 and once in Bobsleigh at the 1988 Winter Olympics.
The British Virgin Islands sent a delegation to compete at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, United Kingdom, which took place between 27 July to 12 August 2012. The country's participation in London marked its eighth appearance at the Summer Olympics since its debut in the 1984 Summer Olympics. The British Virgin Islands delegation included two track and field athletes, 100 meter sprinters J'maal Alexander and Tahesia Harrigan-Scott. Alexander failed to progress through the heats whilst Harrigan-Scott was eliminated in her event's quarterfinals.

Helen Mary Wilkes is an international administrator in the sport of sailing from Ireland. She is best known for her promotion of the Optimist dinghy as president of the International Optimist Dinghy Association (IODA). An active committee member of World Sailing for over 35 years, she also served as the first president of the Women's International Match Racing Association (WIMRA).
