Dillard McCollum High School is a public high school in San Antonio, Texas, United States in the Harlandale Independent School District. It is classified as a 5A school by the University Interscholastic League (UIL). For the 2021-2022 school year, the school was given a "C" by the Texas Education Agency and earned a distinction for Postsecondary Readiness.
The school was named in honor of Dillard McCollum, who served in the community as a student, teacher, principal, and superintendent for twenty years.
The annual Frontier Bowl is one of the oldest and fiercest high school football rivalry games. It pits the Harlandale High School Indians against the McCollum High School Cowboys at Memorial Stadium. The match-up has a 50-year history. [2]
A part of the McCollum band is the McCollum Indoor Percussion and Color Guard, both of which placed 1st in the TECA State Championships (2022). [6] [7] The McCollum Band also is known for going viral in a Fiesta video featuring their rendition of "El Baile de la Gorila (2017). [8] The McCollum Band is currently headed by Gilbert Borrego, Briann Jasso, and Johan Escalera.

The School of Leadership and Public Service (SLPS) is a magnet program on campus at McCollum High School. The Department Chair is currently Yvonne Valdez. The program requires numerous hours of community service and encourages students to take on leadership positions throughout the school. [10]

Winter Guard International (WGI) is an American governing body that sanctions championship events for three competitive performing arts activities: color guard, percussion ensembles, and indoor marching bands. WGI was founded in 1977 in response to inconsistent adjudication and rules of competition which made it difficult for color guards to compete nationally. Today, WGI publishes and maintains an adjudication handbook, with an accompanying "Rules & Regulations", that has been widely adopted.
Cedar Park High School (CPHS) is a high school in Cedar Park, Texas. It was established in 1998 to serve as the second high school in the Leander Independent School District due to the rapid growth in the area.
Flower Mound High School (FMHS) is part of Lewisville Independent School District and is located in Flower Mound, Texas, United States. The school rests on 52 acres (21 ha) of land that was purchased in 1993. FMHS was the second high school built in Flower Mound, after Edward S. Marcus High School. With the expansion of the town in the 1980s and 1990s, a second high school was built to accommodate the growth. FMHS has been called one of the top 10 best public high schools in the Dallas area and had received an "Exemplary" (highest) rating from the Texas Education Agency. The school's fight song is the Michigan Wolverines' fight song, "The Victors".

Lake Highlands High School (LHHS) is a secondary school serving grades 9–12 in the Lake Highlands area of northeastern Dallas, Texas, United States, primarily serving the Lake Highlands community. The school is part of the Richardson Independent School District and is in central Lake Highlands near the DART Blue Line. The Lake Highlands Freshman Center formerly housed the 9th-grade students, but has recently been integrated into the rest of the school, housing classes for all 9–12 students. South Garland High School (SGHS) is a secondary school located in Garland, Texas. The school is part of the Garland Independent School District. The mascot for SGHS is the Titan, after retiring the Colonel, and the school colors are red and Columbia blue. The top right “square” on their shield used to be the confederate flag later being replaced by the swords. In 2009, the school was rated "academically acceptable" by the Texas Education Agency.
