Melt-Banana is a Japanese noise rock band that is known for playing extremely fast noise rock and hardcore punk mixed with experimental, electronica and pop-based song structures. Since forming in 1992 the band has released ten albums and toured worldwide extensively.
Hoist (stylized as (HOIST)) is the fifth studio album by the American rock band Phish, released on March 29, 1994, by Elektra Records. At the time of its release, Hoist was Phish's best selling album to date, peaking at No. 34 on the Billboard 200 albums chart. The album was certified gold by the RIAA on August 19, 1996, and remains the band's best-selling studio release, outsold in their discography only by the platinum-certified A Live One.
Gold Standard Laboratories or GSL was an independent record label which was founded in 1993 in Boulder, Colorado by Sonny Kay. In 2000, it was relocated to San Diego, California, United States, and two years later, to Los Angeles. It was headquartered in L.A. until closing its doors on October 29, 2007.
God Is My Co-Pilot is a no wave queercore band from New York City formed in 1991. The two primary members throughout the 90s were the openly queer couple of vocalist Sharon Topper and guitarist Craig Flanagin. The last recordings with Topper were made in 1998.
Chiclete com Banana is an Axé music band, currently consisting of Bell Marques, Wadinho Marques, Rey, Waltinho Cruz, Deny and Lelo. The group is named after the very well known and influential song "Chiclete com Banana", written by Gordurinha and Almira Castilho, which was first recorded in 1959 by Brazilian popstar Jackson do Pandeiro and by dozens of performers, including Gilberto Gil. Ichiro Agata is the guitarist for the Japanese noise rock band Melt-Banana. Agata is known particularly for his furious stage antics, jumping and constantly moving around, and exceedingly unique approach to playing the guitar which involves extended technique, heavy use of effects pedals, and guitar slides resulting in sounds not easily attributed to the guitar.

Scratch or Stitch is the third album by Melt-Banana. This album was the first breakthrough for the band, as well as their first actual U.S. release. LP versions of this album were limited to 2,600 copies, housed in rubber packaging with a poster lyric sheet and a special Melt-Banana temporary tattoo.

Yasuko Onuki is the singer from Japanese band Melt-Banana, which she founded in 1991. She has a frantic chirping and yelping vocal style which is an important part of Melt-Banana's unique sound. She writes all of Melt-Banana's lyrics, which she sings in English, stating that:
When I first started singing in a band, I was singing in Japanese, but I changed to English. I thought that English would fit more to my style of singing.
Division is the sixth studio album by Japanese visual kei rock band the Gazette, released on August 29, 2012, in Japan by Sony Music Records, and released on October 1, 2012, in Europe by JPU Records as the label's first release. It is a double album, the first disk containing alternative metal and nu metal songs and the second disk containing industrial metal songs in the limited edition, including 14 songs, the first CD has mostly Japanese titled tracks, while the second CD has only English titled tracks, and a DVD with the promotional videos "Ibitsu" and "Derangement" each disc has their own name. The regular edition includes 12 songs. Is the first release that does not include promotional singles since their sixth EP Gama.

Life On Da Beat is the debut studio album by Japanese hip-hop group Lead. It was released on April 23, 2003. The single debuted in the top five on the Oricon charts and stayed on the charts for five consecutive weeks. Bonuses with the album including one of five original stickers, tickets to one of five events, a chance to enter a t-shirt lottery and a leaflet that included a URL to download a special wallpaper.
