MemeM (stylized as memeM) is the third EP by South Korean girl group Purple Kiss. It was released on March 29, 2022, by RBW. The album includes 7 tracks with "memeM" released as the title track. The 4th b-side track of the album titled "Pretty Psycho" was also used to promote the release. The physical album comes in two versions as Meme and M.
On March 8, 2022, RBW announced Purple Kiss would be releasing a new album in post March 2022, and through a logo motion video the title was revealed to be MemeM. [1] On March 20, the music video teaser for lead single "memeM" was released. [2] 4 days later, the highlight medley video teaser, together with the track listing, was released. [3] The album was released on March 29. [4]
The title song "MemeM", which shares the same name as the album, was written by Kim Do-hoon, Seo Yong-bae, Lee Hu-sang and Kang Ji-won. It was composed in the key of B major, with a tempo of 150 beats per minute. [5] Other tracks include "Intro: Illusion", "Oh My Gosh", a pop R&B track, "Pretty Psycho" which is sampled from "Intro: Freaky Purky" from their second EP Hide & Seek, "Joah", a R&B track, "Hate Me, Hurt Me, Love Me", and "Cursor", a down tempo track.
After 6 days of release, on April 4, 2022, they held a live media showcase in Ilji Art Hall, Gangnam-gu, Seoul to introduce the EP. [6] It was scheduled to be held on the same day, but as 3 members tested positive for COVID-19, all promotional activities were postponed for one week. [7]
The EP debuted at number 7 on South Korean's Gaon Album Chart in the chart issue dated March 27–April 2, 2022; [8] on the monthly chart, the EP debuted at number 24 in the chart issue dated March 2022 with 36,140 copies sold. [9] On South Korean Hanteo Charts it was recorded that the album sales on the first day are tripled with this release, selling more than 23,000 copies on first day. [10]
In addition, Pretty Psycho has been listed as one of the '25 Best K-Pop B-Sides of 2022' by Genius. Genius stated "The falsettos and the infectious bassline make it a solid b-side worthy of being a title track." [11]

Mamamoo is a South Korean girl group formed and managed by Rainbow Bridge World. The group is composed of four members: Solar, Moonbyul, Wheein, and Hwasa. Known for their strong live vocals, harmonies, and writing much of their material, they are recognized as one of the premier girl groups in K-pop. They are highly regarded in the industry for their talent and ability to cross multiple genres with their music; from retro, jazz, and R&B concepts in their early years to more contemporary hip-hop, as well as emotional ballads. Since their debut in 2014, they have been noted for challenging conventional beauty standards, breaking gender stereotypes, and conducting themselves in ways that most typical K-pop stars do not.

Onewe is a South Korean alternative rock band composed of five members: Yonghoon, Harin, Kanghyun, Dongmyeong and Giuk. The members originally formed under the name M.A.S 0094 . María is the debut extended play by South Korean singer and Mamamoo member Hwasa. It was released on June 29, 2020, through RBW. The EP was supported by two singles: the lead single "Twit", which reached number one in South Korea, and the title track "María". For María, Hwasa recorded five new tracks including two collaborations: "Kidding" prod. by rapper Zico and "I'm Bad Too" featuring DPR Live. The album was co-written and produced by Hwasa alongside Park Woo-sang. She stated that the album "is like a diary that contains the emotions she felt as a 24-year-old".
Purple Kiss is a South Korean girl group formed by RBW in 2020. The group consists of six members: Na Go-eun, Dosie, Ireh, Yuki, Chaein and Swan. Originally a seven-member group, Park Ji-eun left the group on November 18, 2022, due to health issues. They are considered to be a self-producing group, with members involved in songwriting, composing and other aspects of their music and showmanship.

Lee Giuk, known mononymously as Giuk and formerly known by the stage name CyA, is a South Korean musician, rapper, songwriter, and producer. He is the bassist and rapper of the South Korean alternative rock band Onewe. He made his solo debut on April 20, 2023, releasing his first extended play (EP) Psycho Xybernetics : Turn Over with the lead single "Time Machine (2100)". His second solo EP Rise Waves was released just seven months later on November 15, 2023, with the lead single "Scratch".
