Raequel Miller (born May 1, 1978), better known by her stage name Mercedes, is an American singer, rapper and R&B recording artist from Detroit, Michigan. She is best known for being signed to No Limit Records.
On May 29, 1999, during an interview Mercedes discussed how she got signed to No Limit, clarifying she was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, and was in her second year at Xavier University in New Orleans when No Limit group Kane & Abel saw her perform Shirley Murdock's "As We Lay" in a talent show. Impressed by her performance, the No Limit group invited Mercedes to join them in the studio, where she subsequently met No Limit owner Master P. The label CEO asked her to sing "and I’ve been with them ever since" stated Mercedes. [1] On June 29, 1999, Mercedes would release her debut album entitled Rear End it would be released on Master P's No Limit Records; as was typical for No Limit's releases at the time, the album featured other No Limit performing artists such as Mystikal, Mac, Mia X, Silkk the Shocker and Master P. Rear End was reasonably successful, peaking at No. 34 on the Billboard 200 and No. 12 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums charts. After releasing the album, Mercedes reportedly retired from the music business less than a year later to attend law school. [2]

The Supremes were an American girl group and a premier act of Motown Records during the 1960s. Percy Robert Miller Sr., known by his stage name Master P, is an American rapper, record producer, record executive, actor and entrepreneur. He is the founder of the record label No Limit Records, which was relaunched as New No Limit Records through Universal Records and Koch Records, and again as Guttar Music Entertainment, and currently, No Limit Forever Records. He is also the founder and CEO of P. Miller Enterprises and Better Black Television, which was a short-lived online television network. Miller gained fame in the mid-1990s with the success of his hip hop group TRU as well as his fifth solo rap album Ice Cream Man (1996), which contained his first single "Mr. Ice Cream Man". Miller's popularity grew in 1997 after the success of his Platinum single "Make 'Em Say Uhh!". In total, Miller has released 15 studio albums.
Ike & Tina Turner were an American musical duo consisting of husband and wife Ike Turner and Tina Turner. She was the first female emcee to get a contract with rapper and entertainment magnate, Master P on his successful record label No Limit Records. She is known for collaborations with several No Limit Records artists, including Master P and Silkk the Shocker on the seminal albums, Ice Cream Man, Ghetto D and Charge It 2 Da Game.

Brenda Holloway is an American soul singer who was a recording artist for Motown Records during the 1960s. Her best-known recordings are the hits "Every Little Bit Hurts", "When I'm Gone", and "You've Made Me So Very Happy". The latter, which she co-wrote, was later widely popularized when it became a Top Ten hit for Blood, Sweat & Tears.
